Really you think...and when did you acquire this familiarity with the Navajo and their moment in the sun? Never claimed it was a world ending event, bit melodramatic don't you think, but it was an inappropriate time to get in a jibe at a political opponent, considering the overwhelming percentage of the Navajo didn't vote for Trump.
Anyone can puff up over this now but will anyone remember this 3 weeks from now? Itsy bitsy tiny little big deal. Move on.
I agree, but you would agree, right now, right at this instant, it was poor form to get in a jibe at a political opponent when you're supposed to be there honoring the accomplishments of the Code Talkers...3 weeks from now, irrevelent..right now is my point...right jibe, wrong place, wrong time at best.
Mel Brooks was right when he said this political correctness is the death of comedy.

I'll bet my life savings that leftists would demand to lock Mel up for life if he directs Blazing Saddles today.
How is it political correctness to correct poor manners?

Ok say it with me one more time. It's not about Warren it's not about Warren it's about using a solemn moment in time honoring Navajo code talkers and using it by President Trump as a chance to attack a political rival.
You know, somehow I think your Navaho Marines got the joke and moved on.

It really wasn't a world ending event. Trump was more than respectful (overall).

Now pick up your lil P C panties and get on with it!

(or do I have to listen to those pussys on CNN cry some more)

It may be a blip but it should be noted, just as the President intended.

And what three weeks? If we can go three hours with this Administration without the next blip its a record.

Big picture, this it isn't an isolated moment and that's the thing. This is not a gaffe, this is our President. :oyvey

You don't get Mel Brooks, do you? If you want to get into analyzing his work, films like "Blazing Saddles" are a statement against racism.

This comment by President Trump certainly was not!

Exactly, and there would be another good example..you're Honoring the Tuckegee Airman, then taking a crack at Jesse Jackson...saying I like you black folks better then Jesse.

There is no excuse in the world, no deflection, no reason or cause for the President to have said what he did, (and yes as he used it as a slur). It was deplorable and if you are a President Trump apologist trying to deflect, defend or diminish the intent of this disgusting and disrespectful moment then you are no less deplorable.

And all under a portrait of Andrew Jackson to boot. :shakeshead:

Attacking a political opponent is sufficient justification. If Warren seeks for this to end, she can start supporting his agenda in the senate.
There is no justification! None!

Opposing Trump is the only justification needed.

It's not as if the Dem's don't attack Trump whenever they can....
You see this racial slur he threw out and the shame he is rightfully getting heaped on him for doing so at this event the same as noting that he said it? :oyvey

:violin: :wah:
^ That's about what we have all come to expect from modern day conservatism.

Why can't you just admit that it was out of line and had no place at this event?

Who is out of place is Sen Pocahontas in the Senate. She has disgraced herself and should resign

That’s Leftism. Pretending to be a different race to get votes is wonderful, but don’t you dare call them out on it, you racist!
That would be an excellent point, except she never made her believed Native American ancestry part of her campaign. It was dug up by "opposition research" by people going through her college records.
Do you hear yourself?

Gods, why in hell is this so difficult for some of you to understand, Warren has absolutely NOTHING to do with the event...to take something so dear as honoring their accomplishments as the Code Talkers and use the moment for a cheap political shot at Warren is insulting to those men....that's it, it's really that simple..
They're just not going to get it T. They're never going to understand, perhaps they're willfully refusing to understand, that attacking Elizabeth Warren isn't the point. It's using an event that was supposed to be to honor people who had sacrificed for the nation, to attack Elizabeth Warren.

It would be like Donald Trump giving the eulogy for a fallen solider and making comments about "crooked Hillary".

Beat your political attack drum on your own time, not when you're honoring people whose sacrifices are greater by an order of magnitude than anything you've ever done for the nation.
Crooked hillary, is one of those that I personally blame for for even having fallen soldiers!!!

I'm not sure who organized the code talkers event, but maybe the Donald got tired of watchin all the poltical suckups, horning in and manuverin for position for the inevitable photo op with the Navajo's Hero's. Those same suckups that have done absolutely nothing to even be allowed to stand in the shadows of these brave men and knowing full well, this was just another forked tongue event for bureaucrats, thus the Pocahontas remark!!!

I've see this sort of thing every day in corporate America, it's pretty sickenin sometimes to watch the brownies in action!!!
