The CHAOS continues within the Trump White House and Administration: Rex Tillerson May be Dropped by Trump https://nyti.ms/2kbxSOn White House considering replacing Tillerson @CNNPolitics http://cnn.it/2BBvAfA "There's no decision yet on the timing of Tillerson's departure, which has been expected for months. But multiple sources close to the White House and across government said Pompeo is the leading candidate to take over at the State Department." White House Plans Tillerson Ouster From State Dept., to Be Replaced by Pompeo https://nyti.ms/2ByLjvR "The White House has developed a plan to force out Secretary of State Rex W. Tillerson, whose relationship with President Trump has been strained, and replace him with Mike Pompeo, the C.I.A. director, perhaps within the next several weeks, senior administration officials said on Thursday." Question for the Kool-Aid guzzlers: "When was the last time a Secretary of State was gone in less than a year? Meanwhile are closest ally is downright pissed off with Trump: Trump makes Theresa May great (for a change) https://www.politico.eu/article/trump-makes-theresa-may-great-for-a-change/ "Theresa May’s Donald Trump problem is turning out to be a gift. Westminster has not been known for its unity of late, but in the U.K. parliament, support for the U.S. president was in short supply Thursday, while praise for the prime minister’s robust stance came from unusual corners of the house. Across the political divide, MPs praised the prime minister’s condemnation of Trump’s decision to re-tweet graphic anti-Muslim videos put out by far-right group Britain First." U.K. Outcry at Trump’s Tweets Reopens Fight Over State Visit https://nyti.ms/2kdWPbX "Pressure was growing in Britain on Thursday to withdraw President Trump’s invitation for a state visit, as trans-Atlantic tensions increased over his decision to share far-right videos, and then to rebuke Prime Minister Theresa May after she criticized his actions." Trump Shares Inflammatory Anti-Muslim Videos, and Britain’s Leader Condemns Them https://nyti.ms/2ByPyHZ "President Trump touched off another racially charged furor on Wednesday by sharing videos from a fringe British ultranationalist group purportedly showing Muslims committing acts of violence, a move that was swiftly condemned by Britain’s prime minister as well as politicians across the spectrum...No modern American president has promoted inflammatory content of this sort from an extremist organization. Mr. Trump’s two most recent predecessors, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, both made a point of avoiding public messages that were likely to be seen as anti-Muslim and could exacerbate racial and religious animosities, arguing that the war against terrorism was not a war against Islam." :oyvey :oyvey

Sarah "Hee Haw" Huckabee Sanders spent a great deal of effort at today's presser trying to deflect reporters from this issue.

Okay, let me take you back to reality: Tillerson under pressure after White House plan leaks; http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/362685-tillerson-under-pressure-after-white-house-plan-leaks?rnd=1512124278 "Rex Tillerson’s days at the State Department appear to be numbered. Speculation about Tillerson’s future as secretary of State reached a fever pitch on Thursday after multiple reports detailed a White House plan to replace him with CIA Director Mike Pompeo. The White House stopped short of denying the reports and refused to say whether President Trump still has confidence in his embattled top diplomat." |

Tillerson has already outlasted Lawrence Eagleburger....We never had a Secretary of State before who snubbed the Presidents daughter on a diplomatic mission and called the President a moron....Tillerson was happier being a CEO where he was top dog...Tillerson's assumption that he can negotiate with North Korea confirms he has a lower IQ than Trump....................

Maybe it would be better, after all, if he left: Tillerson is the worst secretary of state in living memory; https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/12/rexit/547295/ "Rex Tillerson’s successor will inherit the monumental task of cleaning up the mess he’s made of the State Department....The graceless defenestration is one of Washington’s crueler art forms. In the case of Rex Tillerson, who has long stoutly maintained that he has no intention of resigning, it has been done with White House leaks about a reshuffle apparently masterminded by White House Chief of Staff John Kelly. In the Marine Corps, these things are done more forthrightly, one suspects; but Kelly is a Trumpian civilian now, so he called Tillerson’s office to deny a story leaked by the White House to major news outlets. Meanwhile, a respected senior colleague gets a prolonged and humiliating shove out the window. Like so much in the capital these days, it’s low-end Shakespeare, farcical court politics albeit without the elevated language." |

In reportedly trading Rex Tillerson for Mike Pompeo, the president once again decides to play musical chairs with staffers: https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/11/the-king-is-dead-long-live-the-mike/547133/?utm_source=nl-atlantic-daily-113017&silverid=MzEwMTU3NjEyMDE1S0 Is Secretary of State Rex Tillerson's departure imminent?; https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2017/11/rex-tillerson-exit/547142/?utm_source=nl-atlantic-daily-113017&silverid=MzEwMTU3NjEyMDE1S0 |

Looks like there's several: “I would humbly recommend you follow me out the door.” Resignation letter slams Tillerson; https://shareblue.com/i-would-humbly-recommend-you-follow-me-out-the-door-resignation-letter-slams-tillerson "When an award-winning U.S. diplomat resigned this week, she made sure her exit wouldn’t be forgotten. In a scathing resignation letter, Elizabeth Shackelford, who worked as a foreign service officer in Nairobi, Kenya, tore into the Trump administration and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson for undermining the work of the State Department and damaging America’s position as a leader on the world stage. Shackelford said she decided to resign because it had become clear that the Trump administration had abandoned human rights and diplomacy in favor of reckless realpolitik and friendships with dictators, according to Foreign Policy, which obtained a copy of the letter. The administration’s disdain for diplomacy is driving out talented staff members and reducing our capacity to avert and respond to global disasters, she said in the letter. “I have deep respect for the career Foreign and Civil Service staff who, despite the stinging disrespect this Administration has shown our profession, continue the struggle to keep our foreign policy on the positive trajectory necessary to avert global disaster in increasingly dangerous times,” Shackelford wrote. “With each passing day, however, this task grows more futile, driving the Department’s experienced and talented staff away in ever greater numbers.” Man That's Winning!!!!! |
