Trump's lawyers are researching old court cases to find out how to avoid Trump being interviewed by Mueller. What happened to “I will gladly have Mueller interview me, even under oath?”

Trump Could Face Witness Tampering Charges For Targeting FBI Agents in Mueller Probe https://lawandcrime.com/legal-analysis/trump-could-face-charges-of-witness-tampering-for-alleged-campaign-against-fbi-agents-testifying-in-mueller-probe/ "President Donald Trump reportedly pushed his aides and apparatchiks to discredit officials with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”) who were likely to testify against him as part of the Russia probe currently being conducted by special counsel Robert Mueller....If true, the allegations are quite serious. (Dowd himself rubbished the report as “flat-out wrong” and told Foreign Policy, “You don’t know me. You don’t how I lawyer, and you don’t know what I communicated to the president and what I did not.”) This analysis takes Foreign Policy‘s reporting as true for the sake of argument, however, and explores possible charges of witness tampering." |

This is certain: Kushner Firm Has To Reveal Its Business Partners By February 9, Rules Federal Judge; http://www.politicususa.com/2018/01/27/jared-kushner.html "Kushner Cos., a real estate company once run by Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law, can no longer keep the names of some of its business partners in Maryland private. U.S. District Court Judge James K. Bredar ruled on Friday that one of the company’s subsidiaries, Westminster Management, must reveal the names of its partners by Feb. 9 in an unsealed document. The issue surrounding the Maryland business has to do with a lawsuit filed last year by tenants of 17 apartment complexes who say the rent prices Westminster Management charges are excessive and illegal. Several news outlets, including The AP, The Washington Post, ProPublica, and others, filed a motion asking that documents providing the information of the company’s partners be revealed." |

I doubt that there's anything incorrect here: Mueller indicts 13 Russian nationals over 2016 election interference @CNNPolitics http://cnn.it/2C0yFtb "Special counsel Robert Mueller has indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities for allegedly meddling in the 2016 presidential election, charging them with conspiracy to defraud the United States, the Department of Justice announced Friday. In addition, three defendants were charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud, and five defendants with aggravated identity theft. "The defendants allegedly conducted what they called information warfare against the United States, with the stated goal of spreading distrust towards the candidates and the political system in general," Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said. Mueller had convened the grand jury as part of his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election as well as any possible connections between Russia and Trump campaign associates. FBI Director Chris Wray and Rosenstein briefed President Donald Trump on the indictments at the White House on Friday morning, a White House official said." |

Why don't you just read this: McMaster says evidence of Russian meddling is ‘now really incontrovertible’ as he woos European allies http://wapo.st/2Bzqbbg "U.S. national security adviser H.R. McMaster acknowledged Saturday that evidence of Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election is “incontrovertible...The comments, a day after the Justice Department indicted 13 Russians for interference in the election that catapulted Donald Trump to the White House, follow months of efforts by the president to cast doubt on assertions of Moscow’s meddling. They came as McMaster used a high-profile address at a global security conference to try to rally Western allies against common enemies, offering an olive branch to U.S. partners that have often felt battered and neglected in the age of Trump.” |
