So I mentioned I got a new phone. Some manufacturers give you either software or some device to help transfer the old data over to the new phone. Essential is not that kind of company so I had to decide how I was going to get all of my content moved over. I have several different software packages I have used over the years but I ran into one that I think is the best I have used.

I was looking for a way to transfer stuff from one phone to another and ran into Syncios. It is much more than that. It is software that has a very capable free version and an even more capable paid version. Since I am not an iPhone guy I used the free version but there are some perks to the paid version that if I owned and iPhone I might consider paying the fee for.

Anyway, Syncios is a cell phone backup and transfer software package that works with your PC or Mac to backup your phone. It works very, very good. About the only thing that I did not see a simple way to transfer was call logs and I did not really need those anyway. The great thing about this is that once you have it you also have a way to periodically make a backup of your phone just in case you accidentally destroy or lose the phone.

So, if anyone is getting a new phone or just wants to back up their existing phone this is a good tool.

People sleep peacefully in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to visit violence on those who would do them harm.
