enjoy your 2 year Senator guys

and congrats on finally getting someone with 11th hour allegations

Moore, unlike Trump (and Reagan before him) just did not have the Teflon coat...
Republicans sign checks on the front, democrats sign them on the back…True story!

I hope Roy Moore sues for recounts and obstructs as much as he can. Dig up dirt on Jones and try to get him impeached. For all the Leftists in office. Restart the House Unamerican Activities Committee.

Jones gets swept out of office in 2020

Moore would have been voted out as well

I agree. Both candidates are a distant memory in 2020.

and Trump is still POTUS.

I’m worried about momentum. The media is only going to become more relentless. We need to step things up, before Trumps first term is over.

And how do you intend to step up?

Pressure “moderate” republicans more than I pressure leftists, and especially within my own community. No tolerance for the likes of Romney, Flake, and Glenn Beck.

Moore is refusing to concede. :hooray:

This is what I’m talking about. Make it as painful to Leftists as possible. Start some recount lawsuits. Start gathering some evidence for criminal investigation on the Democrat... whatever you can find.

If I were Moore I would also be preparing thousands of lawsuits against anyone who perpetuated the lies about him. Sue them all.

The election was laced with fraud.
Kate Steinle was separated from her family permanently but leftists didn't seem to mind.

There was talk about not seating Moore due to the allegations levied against him. I wonder if they could choose to not seat Jones based on the fact that his victory was due to manipulation by the Washington Post...

Probably not but it would be fun to see them try.

So every Repub candidate who won (that Fox News wrote a negative article on their respective Dem rivals) should be unseated? Please answer because I really don't get it.

Perhaps you can elaborate on how the Constitutionally protected free press printing news stories that have been fact checked constitutes manipulation and how this so called manipulation by the Washington Post differs from any other news media?

We the people aren't smart enough to think for ourselves and be trusted to make our own judgements when it comes to voting in elections, I guess. Democracy can't go far with that thought, eh?

Hey, you guys were all for them not seating Moore despite the fact that the man has never been convicted of anything and there is zero physical evidence to prove that he did any of this. Also, there is zero question that this story was available during the primaries but WaPo waited to publish (oh I'm sure they will claim that they were verifying it or some such nonsense) until after the primary.

Possibly though, what does really need to happen is that there needs to be some provision put in there so that the party (RNC or DNC) can choose to replace a candidate who was elected in a primary if something comes out after the primary that wrecks the chances of a victory in the way that this WaPo manipulation did.

Had the the RNC been able to replace More with Strange shortly after the WaPo article hit then there is little chance that Jones would have won. This would also maybe limit future attempts to manipulate the voting public by media that have a vested interest in seeing certain candidates win.

There is a reason why I said it would be fun to see them try.

Now, if I were the folks running things, I might not seat him until Al actually resigns...

It was never about convicting Moore, this is about the open election process system in the US, two completely different things.

If that kind of provision was put in place, primary elections would be pointless, no? The party can replace anyone it wants to when it comes to general election regardless who won the primary, and would diss a LOT of voters off.
