I wouldn't make too much out of this, Atta. Roy Moore was a particularly bad candidate. If they had run anyone other than Roy Moore, a Republican would be headed for the Senate right now rather than a Democrat. And it's a good bet that come the next time there is an election for this Senate seat, if the Republicans run someone even slightly better than Roy Moore, the seat is theirs again. |
