First, the extremist mayor of London banned women who were physically fit and wore bathing suits. Now all of England is banning women who fit a feminine “stereotype?”

What is it with Leftists and censorship?

And this under a “conservative” government
Skipping leg day is the equivalent of a woman having an abortion. You're ashamed of it, and it was probably unnecessary.

A somewhat dishonest article only based on reality.

It starts with this portion of the article title: "Traditional Depictions of Mothers to be Banned in Adverts...' - A Lie!

It immediately continues it's dishonesty with the Breitbart's article opening Norman Rockwell depiction of a stereotypical scene of a women preparing a cake in the kitchen. --- Not Banned!

Completely dishonest - "What is it with Leftists and censorship?" - With no knowledge of the politics of those that are employed by the CAP.

Also completely dishonest Dr. B's topic title - England Bans Images Of Women Who Aren’t Feminist; Harmful stereotypes of traditional homemakers to be banned from advertisements

The review by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) on harmful gender stereotyping in advertising, Depictions, Perceptions and Harm, published last summer, provided an evidence-based case for stronger regulation of ads that feature stereotypical gender roles or characteristics which can be harmful to people, including ads which mock people for not conforming to gender stereotypes.

https://www.asa.org.uk/news/new-rule-to-ban-harmful-gender-stereotypes-next-year.html

The new rule will not ban all forms of gender stereotypes, with evidence falling short of calling for a ban on ads depicting scenarios such as a woman cleaning or a man doing DIY tasks.

But the review found certain types of depictions were likely to be "problematic", such as a woman having sole responsibility for cleaning up her family's mess or a man trying and failing to undertake simple parental or household tasks.

"Although companies have responded positively and constructively to our report, with welcome examples of voluntary action, there is more to do.

Where as I don't necessarily agree with the restrictions, such as what might limit an advertisement with humorous intentions, lets at least be honest about what we are talking about.
