Quoting limited to 5 levels deepT are you suggesting the there is an active effort to keep the brown man down? Because I would submit that today there is an effort to keep the white man down.

You and I have have more in common that I thought.
You implied it
Please provide the pertinent phrasing in any statement I've made implying it...thanks.
Well us (white people) being racists, as you have so many times implied, wouldn't we actively work to keep you down? Being racists and all.
Please provide the pertinent phrase in my statement wherein you drew your conclusion, you're dodging.
I forget word for word but you and I went back and forth over non-whites can't be racist and how white people can't help but be racist.

Go ahead and deny it. Everyone here knows who you really are. Racist.

First I roll my eyes at "minorities" when it comes to "race". And that so-called "white privilege" is from people still believing in race bullcrap so they think negatively towards others because they have a us vs. them mentality or think that somebody with a particular skin color or background represents all people with a similar skin color or background. There are people like that in all of those made-up groups.

In my opinion it refers to an unequal application / treatment by the law as well as the same when it come to opportunities and education.

That's a broad stroke answer but we can get into the weeds if you like.

No, Asians are inherently good at math whereas Blacks and Hispanics fall behind. Math is a universal language that has no bias whatsoever. That has nothing to do with discrimination or keeping the man down by society.
inherently good at math..many Vietnam era veterans I know thought the Montagnards were dumb as a box of rocks and superstitious as was their standard response when talking bout Vietnamese, Cambodian, Laotian, and Thai as well. The Burmese weren't any better. I have had good experience with South Asians though...Indians, not so much Bangladeshi and Pakistani (although the Pakistani are very hard workers), my son doesn't think too much of the Afghanis either. That leaves your Asian example to be Chinese, Japanese, or Korean..hardly a broad representation of the "Asian" community.

Tsal, I am going to give you a fine example why nobody cares about "white privilege" except those using it as an excuse for their failures. The following link shows why even though this is a new term it is already falling on deaf ears everywhere.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/12/28/farmers-markets-racially-biased-cause-environmental-gentrification-professors-say.html

Quote:

Farmers' markets a racially biased cause of 'environmental gentrification,' professors say

Two California professors are criticizing farmers’ markets for causing “environmental gentrification” in which “habits of white people are normalized.”

San Diego State University geography professors Pascale Joassart-Marcelli and Fernando J. Bosco contend that farmers’ markets are “white spaces” oppressing minorities in a chapter for "Just Green Enough," an environmental anthology focused on urban development.

Environmental gentrification is defined as a process where “environmental improvements lead to … the displacement of long-term residents,” according to the anthology.

The professors, as reported by Campus Reform, say farmers’ markets are “exclusionary” because locals cannot “afford the food and/or feel excluded from these new spaces.”

The SDSU professors, who teach classes like “Geography of Food” and “Food Justice,” argue that “farmers’ markets are often white spaces where the food consumption habits of white people are normalized.”

Listen, I'm not saying there aren't plenty of fruits and nuts spouting complete and utter bullcrap, there are, you can't turn your head without bumping into one of them. It also makes any rational discussion of racism impossible because of them.

There is in my opinion, a persistent theme in many people, that racism per se didn't exist past 1964 when the CRA and VRA were passed...in point of fact, while officially Jim Crow was dead, his corpse took another 20 years or so to decompose to the point the mentality that made those laws wither and die.

I can't pinpoint specifics for you D....and I know that's what you and PA are expecting of me. For the first 2 centuries of the Republic, life, society, the economy, itself was geared toward the advancement of whites in this country. From the poorest to the wealthiest..a system of belief, of dogma really....the concept of Manifest Destiny comes to mind.

I realize I'm not making a good case for the discussion here..rather jumping from point to point apparently...and for that you have my apologies.
This isn’t 1889 Alabama. Modern American society preferences minorities over whites.
You mistyped....you should have typed "1969' Alabama...not "1869'. Whites still account for over 60% of the population and you are overwhelmingly represented in every field...hardly preferences minorities over whites.

I can and do deny it...here is the only pertinent statement you could possibly make such a connection...I asked you for ther pertinent phrasing in my statement..here for your review.

"Never said there was a conspiracy...I tend to argue the position most of the mentality is subconscious, not even aware of how it influences their opinions."

So please point out the pertinent phrase I used.

Also, I have never...ever said that non-whites can't be racist...so you lie. Only you, Philly, and Fashy have concluded I'm a racist..rather funny consider Philly's and Fashy's statements about minorities and homosexuals. So....no..not "everyone here knows who you really are. Racist"

In 1970, they were 90%. If whites were preferenced, or even equal, it would have remained there.

So you think 90% of well...everything....would have been considered "equal"?

That's because you don't have full understanding Asians. You are looking at Asians entirely as of yesterday's kind of Asians. I'll credit you for some accuracy about the hearsay told to you.

Pakistan and Indians or any of the "Stans" aren't Asians by any means. I don't care how people insisted that they are Asians just because both are in the Asia continent. I also don't consider Filipinos Asians. The true Asian are the ones with oriental traits such as Chinese, South Vietnamese, Koreans, Japanese, and Thai.

You are correct about the intelligence among Burmese, Laotians, Cambodians, most Thais, and the Northern Vietnamese. The people in those geographic area don't value education as much as the northern neighbors. They don't see the need to pursue for more in life knowing they can live off the environment. There are lots of Chinese, perhaps about 900,000,000 of them are also in this category. Farming is all they know in life and passed from one generation to another.

Now, try to compare the same Asians (everyone from Asia) living in the US with Blacks and Hispanics and tell me you don't see the difference in math skill level. I've work with Blacks and Hispanics who can't even comprehend 5th grade math such as multiplying and dividing fractions or simply percentage calculation. They have no idea what simplifying fractions mean. Filipinos are also one of the worst because of their fondness of the Black culture.
Kate Steinle was separated from her family permanently but leftists didn't seem to mind.
