Trump’s lawyers desperately search obscure legal maneuvers to shield him from Mueller; https://shareblue.com/trumps-lawyers-desperately-search-obscure-legal-maneuvers-to-shield-him-from-mueller/

"Trump's legal team is reportedly searching through 20 year-old legal cases in the hopes of finding a way to shield him from special counsel Robert Mueller — contradicting Trump's own words from a few days ago, when he said he was "looking forward" to speaking with Mueller."

:dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:
Mueller should not be asking anyone questions until he himself is sworn in..............
It’s Now Likely Mueller Thinks Trump Obstructed Justice; https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2018/01/26/mueller-trump-obstruction-of-justice-russia-216532

"Thursday’s bombshell news points toward one conclusion: The special counsel has the goods on the president."
I am confident that Trump's Supreme Court will order Mueller to read: Myers vs. the United States 272 US 52 (1926)...It is not Obstructing Justice for the President to fire one of his employees......... :booboo:
Looks like Trump has taken yet another detour from reason:

Scarborough: Trump in 'meltdown mode' over indictments; http://thehill.com/homenews/media/374432-scarborough-trump-in-meltdown-mode-over-indictments

"MSNBC's Joe Scarborough said President Trump is in "meltdown mode" on Sunday after special counsel Robert Mueller brought charges against 13 Russian nationals who allegedly interfered in the 2016 U.S. elections.

"Someone, anyone close to the president needs to take his phone away this morning. He is in meltdown mode over the Russian indictments," Scarborough tweeted.

"Him freaking out and spinning wildly makes him look more desperate by the tweet. Lawyers, I’m serious. Take. The. Phone."

The Mueller confrontation that Republicans were trying to avoid has just arrived http://wapo.st/2nhgVzA?tid=ss_tw&utm_term=.104dca83d795

"The firing of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III has long been a red line for most Republicans in Congress who are trying to work with their president.

But it's a red line they'd rather not act on — and now, with news that President Trump actually made moves to do it, they may be forced to.

There are two bills in Congress, both of which have some Republican support, that would protect Mueller from being fired by Trump. But neither bill has been seriously considered by leadership.

Up until this point, Republicans had given Trump the benefit of the doubt that he wouldn't launch a constitutional crisis. From their perspective, why take action and cause a confrontation with the president (and jeopardize their agenda) if they don't absolutely have to?

Now they may have to."
Trump can for Mueller whenever he wants.....There would be major whining from Democrats....However Trump would not be impeached....It sounds like you are dying to find out if I am right...........
Seems there's more you need to know:

Ty Cobb, the president's lawyer, has reportedly been downplaying the threat of Mueller’s investigation as a way of preventing Trump from firing him https://www.politico.com/story/2018/01/26/ty-cobb-trump-white-house-russia-lawyer-373194
Mueller is a greater threat to taxpayers than he is to Trump...............

What does a 20 year old case or law have to do with anything? A slave law, yes they are still of record, was use by my son recently to prove a liability point. Trump should have and probably does have the smartest legal team on the planet. Old saying is...he who has the best lawyers, wins. OJ proved that many years ago.

"All the kings horses and all the kings men' (i.e. the lawyers) can't keep old Trump from becoming unhinged again:

Opinion | Trump's unhinged Russia tweetstorm boomerangs back on Republicans http://wapo.st/2odt5ef?tid=ss_tw&utm_term=.ebb340c02532

"Now that special counsel Robert S. Mueller III has laid out a startlingly detailed plot by Russian nationals to influence the election, which included multiple “operations” that included “supporting” Trump’s presidential candidacy and “disparaging” his opponent’s, it presents an occasion to revisit a series of episodes in 2016 that still remain poorly understood....In the light of Mueller’s new indictment, we should revisit this. Before, we didn’t really have any idea just how extensive a case for Russian meddling was presented to GOP lawmakers. But now we have a much clearer sense of just how elaborate the Russian scheme really was — and a much clearer sense of the degree to which it was aimed at tipping the election to Trump. Indeed, the Mueller indictment doesn’t touch the role of WikiLeaks and the cybertheft aimed at top Democrats, which suggests that it only scratches the surface of what is known.

All this makes it more likely that a credible, detailed case was presented to GOP lawmakers in those meetings — not just of the scope of the Russian plot but also that its aim was to help install Trump in the White House, as part of a “strategic effort to sow discord in the U.S. political system,” as the indictment puts it. And so, Trump’s new spin in the face of the indictment — that it reveals Obama’s failure to act in the face of the threat — also invites more scrutiny of their conduct in the face of that threat."
