Concerning the current scandals entangling the congress. I am very concerned about overthrowing the vote of the people by expelling congressional & senatorial candidates, on a whim Voting is our most precious right, and must never be overthrown by Congressional, judicial, or even executive fiat. Therefore my proposal is this, any congressman or senator accused of any kind of misconduct shall be put up to a recall, all voter fraud attempts must be prevented. BUT, only after the accusations have been positively proven to be true. Then the people can vote to recall or retain, their choice, This recall vote would only occur in the congressman or senators district or state. This is the only way the sanctity of the vote can be upheld. If however the people vote to retain that congressman or senator that person must under go any and all therapy, and classes and training that may even loosely apply to the misdeed. Such as anger management training, sexual rehab therapy, defensive driving classes. AA training/membership for life and all the rest. Letters of apology must be sent to all of that persons constituents, all colleagues in the senate, or house, as well as the administration at the time of the misdeed. This will be fairly and equally applied to all irregardless of party affiliation. Any attempts to cover up the misdeed should be punished by severe fines, and or prison time. Problem solved. |
