I don’t need to understand the cultural, historical, and spiritual aspects of yoga to just enjoy a good stretch. Yoga is a culturally sensitive issue, apparently — it’s in the news yet again, thanks to a piece by a Michigan State University professor who declares that white people practicing yoga are “connected with a system of power, privilege, and oppression.” “While the (mis)appropriation of yoga may not be a life-threatening racism, it is a part of systemic racism nonetheless,” states an article co-written by the professor, Shreena Gandhi, and Lilli Wolff, a self-described “antiracist white Jewish organizer, facilitator, and healer.”

Well, you should be.

Authenticly white people do Pilates

I don't really buy into the whole "racial appropriation" where white people are bad for liking rap music, styling their hair in corn rows, wanting to dress in certain ways that are considered "cultural", or because they want to do yoga or what have you.

People can take things a bit too far.

Liberalism is a mental disorder....it's why there is no compromising with them....what next 38 pronouns?
Only liberals can choose not to go down the road to widespread, systematic violence.
