They're still available at five U.S. dealerships. You may have to travel a thousand miles to buy one - but the ride home should be one to remember.

Thought, the brand was dead long ago?
Not dead, just on life support.

In December 2015, a new law called the "Low Volume Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Act" created a regulatory structure that allowed companies to produce a limited number of complete replica motor vehicles as long as the vehicles they produced were 25 years old. or older. This legislation was inserted into a federal highway bill signed into law in Dec 2015. This is how the gentlemen in Wilmy's video are able to legally build brand new DeLorean's - where as prior to Dec. 2015 they could only restore and repair them - but not build them from the ground up - as is being done now - for just over two years.

Trump needs to focus more so on the male vote. He should have nationalized the Boy Scouts when they decided to admit girls.

Had a DeLorean once. Had to sell it. It kept sucking the white lines off the hiway. :rotflmao:

You should have given it to a homeless person since it runs on garbage.

The 2.8L 130hp GM V-6 used in the original DMC-12 will likely be replaced with the much more powerful 335hp 3.6L LGX V-6 found in the 2018 Camaro with perhaps a performance enhancement package taking it up to about 400hp, perhaps sightly more. Upgrades to brakes, suspensions and wheels are also planned. Price? About 100K base.

The new DeLorean will much different from the original - with just a few interior styling cues carried over - if excepted for production - two variants are currently under consideration.

Back in the '80s, the guy that lived across the street from me had a DeLorean.

I talked him into taking it out to the autocross track one Saturday. It wasn't that fast, and the handling was below average at best, for that class of car.

It did get a lot of attention though.

I knew that you could buy them newly built from the old parts from DMC in Texas. I did not know they had dealerships.
