Russian approval led to attack on U.S. troops in Syria

A Russian oligarch believed to control the Russian mercenaries who attacked U.S. troops and their allies in Syria this month was in close touch with Kremlin and Syrian officials in the days and weeks before and after the assault, according to U.S. intelligence reports.

In intercepted communications in late January, the oligarch, Yevgeniy Prigozhin, told a senior Syrian official that he had “secured permission” from an unspecified Russian minister to move forward with a “fast and strong” initiative that would take place in early February.

That's twice now that Russia has attacked the U.S.. Once during the 2016 campaign, by computer troll farm, and now an ambush by Russian mercenaries, ordered by the Kremlin! without mention or consequence from President Dumb A$$, or should we call him comrade Dumb A$$?
Two acts of war and no action from our President, this is a clear dereliction of his Constitutional duty.
Where is the Congressional oversight?
If there is nothing to hide then why all the lies?

It is silly for the USA to expect to be able to maintain much influence in Syria....We were never invited to be there and most of our "moderate" mercenaries were defeated...We should withdraw from Syria before our azz is thrown out of there........... :oyvey

My thoughts precisely, however the one thing that really bothers me is Bashar Al-Assad's blatent killing of innocent children and adults. He needs to be removed and held to account for his crimes against humanity.
