It would split the Democrats.... But....particularly after the last Presidential nomination double cross....Should that worry him? Scared of the Democrats or too far into the swamp....
Maybe he doesn't want to be responsible for handing Republicans an electoral victory on a silver platter?
That is the only way Trump can win in 2020. It turned out to be the difference in 2016. No wonder the boys want to see a replay.
I would respectfully suggest that the Democrats a) not attempt to sabotage the primary of whoever isn't the "mainstream" pick, and b) stop bad mouthing Bernie's supporters and then expecting them to support the Democratic candidate anyway. Mainstream Democrats have a decision to make this time around. They can either look for common ground with the more progressive side of the house or they can do what they did last time, which was to piss them off by demeaning them and attempting to cheat their candidate out of a primary victory, and then expecting them to get energized and show up in droves for a candidate they didn't want and believe was foisted on them through an illegitimate process. It’s up to the Sanders voters to decide what they want to do. It isn’t up to anyone to kiss their asses as some demanded in the last election. Cooperation is a two way street. We know what happens and who will be elected if the forces against Trump are splintered.
I don’t agree with all of Sanders positions. Many, most maybe, but not all. But I won’t be demanding anyone to kiss my ass for my vote of Sanders wins the Democratic nomination. He gets it if he wins the nomination. Period, No qualifiers.

Guess we'll see what happens come election time, but I have to say running down progressives is not a good way to gain their votes.

Sounds like something you guys could hash out on the Liberal/Dem board.... I keep sending the same message and they keep refusing to "kiss our asses". No one is asking to have their asses kissed. We're asking for some respect and to stop treating us like we're misbehaving children who need to be lectured by their betters.

Well, we have been over that and at the time that was the price of a lot of Sanders voters (some on here) wanted.
Again. If Sanders gets the nomination (and I may well vote for him in the primary) I don’t plan to require anyone to kiss my a$$ for my vote.

At least have the balls to admit it.
For my part, I’ll commit to vote for the Democrat nominated regardless if it’s Sanders or someone else that earns the nomination. I’m not cutting off my nose to spite my face.

How about not claiming people are expecting their a$$es be kissed when all they're looking for is to be treated like equals, and not misbehaving children who need to be lectured by their betters?
Well, we have been over that and at the time that was the price of a lot of Sanders voters (some on here) wanted. Again. If Sanders gets the nomination (and I may well vote for him in the primary) I don’t plan to require anyone to kiss my a$$ for my vote. Fair enough?
*shrug* We'll see when the time comes. But if you try to foist another Clinton off on us, after having stacked the deck illegitimately in their favor, don't be surprised if we decide to do otherwise.
I get it, you want Sanders or your support defaults to Trump. At least have the balls to admit it. For my part, I’ll commit to vote for the Democrat nominated regardless if it’s Sanders or someone else that earns the nomination. I’m not cutting off my nose to spite my face. It's crystal clear you still don't get it....the arrogance is staggering....

Sounds like main stream Democrats still haven't learned their lesson. Guess we'll see what happens come election time, but I have to say running down progressives is not a good way to gain their votes.
He gets my vote without qualifications if he’s the nominee. I haven’t ruled out voting for him in the NJ primary either. As of this day, right now, I would vote for him in the primary. Would you prefer that I refuse to vote for him unless you kiss my a$$? Wtf more do you want?

It's a Democrat Elitist thing.... by “Democrat Elitist” do you mean someone that refuses to support Trumps theft of our country with the aid of Vladimir Putin? I don’t support Putin’s butler.
Because son, that is the only thing that matters. Kicking him to the curb in 2020.

Sounds like main stream Democrats still haven't learned their lesson. Guess we'll see what happens come election time, but I have to say running down progressives is not a good way to gain their votes.

No, that's what you hear, but that's not what I've said.
There are any number of other candidates that will do. But when it comes time to elect one through the primary, don't freaking rig the primary to ensure the candidate we absolutely hate the most gets handed the win on a silver platter, and then treat us like we're being children throwing a tantrum when we object.
Stop being so arrogant and self righteous.
