Did Native Americans Murder Undocumented European Immigrants?

Is it time to revisit and rethink Native American culture? Our European ancestors simply came to the United States for a better life and were met with hostility, many murdered including women and children. Why are we building the biggest memorial on the planet to one of the perpetrators of these horrific hate crimes?

A better life? The Spanish came to conquer pure and simple..and they managed to destroy highly evolved Meso-American empires where astronomy, agriculture, and architecture were wonders to behold...Now, the Dutch and the French, only they came to trade really, we were just fine with them. The British came to take lands already claimed by other people and they didn't really care that someone was here already.

They left a land of oppression searching for the American dream and they were murdered. Did they get free services from Native American Medicine Men? Did Native American tribes educate young European Americans? Were they supplied enough buffalo meat? They only wanted jobs Native Americans refused to do. Sorry Mr T, I'm seeing murder, racism and genocide. We should stop celebrating Native American culture and purge all statues and monuments that pay homage to these racists. I only want to be fair and view all historical figures in the same light.

Only the pilgrims fit your description and yes...they were taken care of by the local Pequot and Massachusett, they were fed, and shown local plants for medicine, shown where the local fishing and hunting was best.

Your 1st Thanksgiving is a testimony to the belief that not everything has to be done to screw someone over for a percentage or a buck.

That does not make up for the thousands of undocumented Europeans that were killed. Crazy Horse was a major perpetrator in these horrific crimes against undocumented Europeans. The monument in his honor should be destroyed, just like Confederate memorials.

Your insensitivity to the plight of my people is troubling.

Pretty sure the 7th, 9th, and 10th cavalry weren't undocumented, the uniforms flashing with pennants and sabers coming down on defenseless women and children

The liberal Native Americans helped them while the conservative Natives wanted them out. Simple.

"The Spanish came to conquer pure and simple."

President Donald Trump has said that he wants to send between 2,000 and 4,000 National Guard members to the US-Mexico border and keep them there until the wall he wishes to build is completed.

Out of all the people I would expect you to understand.

La Raza -Chicano Activism in California

.....the literal "retaking" of California pales in comparison to its symbolic value - the long-awaited return of those "illegally annexed territories" which the Chicano movement claims were stolen from ... Young people are particularly vulnerable to "defection" and the future of the movement depends on their ties to "La Raza.".

The coming numerical dominance of California's burgeoning Latino population was confirmed by the Census Bureau in July 1997. In 49 years, only 13.8 percent of Los Angeles County will be white and 69.1 percent will be Latino - a consequence of two amnesties for three million illegal aliens, sieve-like borders, and the high levels of legal immigration that have made Los Angeles the second largest Mexican city in the world.

"Latinos" indicates Central and South Americans; the word "Hispanic" is generic. Radical leftists of the 1960s gave "Chicano" a new defiant meaning and proclaimed Mexican-Americans heirs to Aztlan. the mythical homeland of the Aztec people.

The predicted demographic shift from minority to majority status is a triumph for Chicano activism and brings vast new political opportunities for its leadership. But the literal "retaking" of California pales in comparison to its symbolic value - the long-awaited return of those "illegally annexed territories" which the Chicano movement claims were stolen from their indigenous forebears in 1848, by the occupying forces of the United States, after the Treaty of Guadelupe-Hidalgo.

The passage of California's Proposition 187 was the first major obstacle in the path of this "reconquista" movement, and in response, after the election, 400 Latino leaders held a summit conference at the University of California at Riverside. The participants were Hispanic elected officials and the Hispanic press, university faculty and students from Texas and Arizona as well as California, and the leadership of the major Hispanic organizations.
