It seems for most folks...there has been no noticeable tax cut.

Most people won't see much if any difference prior to next years tax returns.

If you make less than $40k/year you may not see any difference at all. If you are married with kids and make less than $80k combined the difference will be small.

It is all percentages and a percentage of a small amount is a small number.

Have their companies adjusted their withholding rates? Also, your withholding and the amount of taxes you pay is not necessarily the same. I should also mention 47% of the population don't pay federal taxes.

Don't worry, taxes have been cut. The alternative is Trump REALLY slashes taxes so people notice? I'm good with that!

So you didn't understand what I said? Do you understand the difference between withholding and actual tax liability?

They were actually pretty clear in stating that people would not see the change in their paycheck except for marginally. Where people will see the change is when they file taxes.

I understand perfectly.
It’s a tax cut you can’t see.

Just as the article discusses.
For practical purposes. It doesn’t really exist for most people.

Maybe you should research the actual rate decrease and the increase in the standard deduction before you go off on a tangent?

I read it, people that pay little in taxes didn't get a big cut. Duh... I'm happy about our $5000+/year cut. We just bought a new car, our tax cut basically pays the payment! It's like getting a free car.

Let's cut real estate taxes in half, that really hurts people on fixed incomes.

The funny part about this is that this was a real tax cut that has already made a number of significant differences including many new hires by companies.

Anybody remember Obama's version? Back when he wanted to make people think he was doing something for them and he reduced social security withholding so that people saw 1.5% more in their paycheck? People got a few bucks more on each paycheck and because people are stupid they did not connect the fact that they the money was supposed to be funing Social Security and would eventually have to be paid.

But hey, foolish people thought Obama was a good guy for giving them enough to buy a couple coffees each week.

By most people are you talking about people who do not actually pay income tax?

I am not trying to be an ass here. This is a serious question. Give me the tax bracket and family/tax filing situation of "most people"
