This is hilarious coming from pops who is sucking taxpayers' money for doing nothing.
Collecting my SS? I paid for my elders.
Your turn, junior.
I told you many times. The government spent your money. You are living on taxpayers' dime.
Thanks for your take on it.
DrudgeX is correct. I'm eligible for social security and I know damn well the current work force will be paying for my monthly pittance. It's OK, other than voting for democrats it's not your fault.

The “current workforce” has been paying for the SS benefit since it was created.
Who else would be paying ?

When a retirement program spends current contributions to replenish past contributions already spent you have a Ponzi scheme. Maybe you should piss away your IRA, rely on your children paying for your retirement and then they can rely on their children to pay for their retirement? That is wrong on so many levels besides being financially unsound.

But hey, foolish people thought Obama was a good guy for giving them enough to buy a couple coffees each week.

I distinctly recall left wing talking heads praising what they now refer to as 'crumbs'. The talking points went something like this. "A few extra dollars a week can make the difference between buying their meds or going without."

Wonder what happened on Nov 8, 2016 that changed all that? :dunno:

It seems for most folks...there has been no noticeable tax cut.
Who makes over 300k per year? Not many. The real problem with this article is that the author has used the tax cut theme to cover their opportunity to bad mouth Trump, as many such articles do. They tend to digress into Trump bashing and in doing so they lose their credibility for the headline theme.

If you don't understand how a Ponzi scheme works by now I can't help you. Have you seen any of the dismal social security projections lately? Maybe they'll fix it by raising the retirement age to 90! Maybe then it would be solvent?

Do you know what an unfunded liability is? I'm guessing not. The social security unfunded liability is closing in on 17 TRILLION dollars. Don't you worry, the dems are going to fix it.

Because it was the prior year doofus.

and democrats saying they don't see a tax cut is understandable - government handouts are exempt from government taxation :)

The funny part about this is that this was a real tax cut that has already made a number of significant differences including many new hires by companies.

Anybody remember Obama's version? Back when he wanted to make people think he was doing something for them and he reduced social security withholding so that people saw 1.5% more in their paycheck? People got a few bucks more on each paycheck and because people are stupid they did not connect the fact that they the money was supposed to be funing Social Security and would eventually have to be paid.

But hey, foolish people thought Obama was a good guy for giving them enough to buy a couple coffees each week.
And the federal deficit is heading to one trillion dollars. Remember when Republicans were all in a lather over the deficit in Obama's years? Remember their outrage at Clinton's to-do with Monica? They aren't bothered by Trump's serial adulteries, even the Bible thumpers don't care. Corruption? OMG the Clinton Foundation! What about the hundreds of millions of dollar Trump and his guys are laundering for Russia? Oh, that's different. It's OK.

Hey, are we in TPP or out? How about war with Syria? Sending the military to the border? Turns out to be fewer National Guard troops than Obama sent and they aren't allowed to hassle illegal immigrants!

Trumpies don't care about any of this. All that matters is that Hillary isn't president. No wonder Putin is laughing up his sleeve.
