And really, you trumpers should be more compassionate about Comey. That stunt he pulled just before the election probably helped Trump win.
Comey's "stunt" was an obvious attempt to correct the wrong that he did by not recommending Ma Barker for prosecution. He could not allow a prosecution but he could not allow a criminal to be elected president either. He saved Ma from a date in court and he also spared America from the embarrassment of having the possible impeachment of its first bisexual alcoholic woman president. Comey played it right.
What was he going to prosecutor for? He wouldn't find a prosecutor to take that "case" to any court, they want to win not be embarrassed.
They had cause and evidence but chose not to charge Ma Barker because it would have drawn Obama into court as well which in turn would have effectively shut down our government and that could not happen. Comey gave a hard reprimand, that is all he could do. He came later and screwed Ma's pooch by with his announcement that he was going to reopen the case. Comey said his agents learned of new emails “pertinent” to their probe while working on an unrelated case. He said his agents need to review those messages to see whether they contain classified information and whether they affect his previous decision. Why did he do that when he did? Because he wanted to make sure that Ma did not have a chance at getting elected. It's pretty simple and very easy to understand. Or it could have been as he explained it. But the conspiracy theory plays better in Hollywood and Rightie Land.

If it wasn't for Phony Comey's interference in the general election the Loser in Chief would have never won. But since he did win by cheating all we have to look forward to his impeachment.
If Comey wasn't an Obama/Clinton lap dog he would have prosecuted Hillary, the traitor.
Prosecuted her for what?
Pay for play, quid quo pro, campaign finance laws .....
You have to have evidence to prosecute someone. Since those are just wet-dreams in Rightie World there is not going to be a prosecution. Oh the irony.
Unlike you I have evidence - Wikileaks.

Supports Commie propaganda ^ Funny. Wikileaks wasn't "commie propaganda" when it was disclosing the atrocities in Iraq during the Bush administration.
But feel free to provide evidence that Wikileaks is "commie propaganda" and after that - provide evidence that the Wikileaks emails from Hillary Clinton detailing her pay for play, quid quo pro dealings with the Madagascar cartels were fabricated.

Wikileaks is a front for the FSB, who stole Hillary and Podesta's emails and gave them to that commie sympathizer Julian Assange. So says our intelligence community and more then likely the Mueller investigation. Who's just about ready to indict another friend of corrupt Trump by the name of Michael The Fixer Cohen, on charges of fraud, money laundering, campaign finance violations and lying to federal investigators.

I can't figure him out. I loved it when he torpedoed Hillary.
I don't think Trump should have fired him though. People like Comey come cheap. Trump could have bought him.

He didn't torpedo Hillary...he absolved her, which he never should have done. There was plenty of evidence of massive illegal activity on her part and she should have been indicted for it.
Why would you suggest Trump "buy" a corrupt official? Are you suggesting Trump act corruptly?
Your name doesn't match your comments...methinks you're a sock puppet.

Correction, they come up with all that they needed to indict Ma Barker but to do so at that time would have knocked our nation on our collective asses. The only solution was to issue a strong reprimand, allow the election process to continue, and then just before election night to reopen the case and sell Ma down the river. She lost the election because of Comey but she too did not have to spend any time in prison either. She came out ahead.
