Arresting people for pot, unless they are driving under the influence, is certainly a waste of resources. That said the dems priorities, getting high and protecting illegal criminals is a reminder how radical they have become. What happened to good jobs, law and order, infrastructure, lifting people out of poverty.....
They blew their chance for an FDR moment by bailing out the Wall Street banks in 2009.
You realize the government actually made money on the financial services industry bailout? I didn't like it either but most on Wall Street lost a lot of money. The alternative was what?

That still doesn't change the fact the democrat party has lost it's way.
When do you think the TEA party started ?
Exactly right after the Wall Street bailout.
It was like gas on a fire and the Koch brothers( who initially funded and promoted them through AFP ) and others knew it. What started in the spring, by August of 2009, the TEA party was nationwide.

Being a doper was fun when I was a teenager, spending most of your adult life high is sign of bigger problems. I love my life when I'm straight, you should try it. I suggest a long bike ride or a day skiing big mountains.

Yep, love good bourbon and good wine but I don't drink everyday or in the morning. I get the pot thing, I've probably smoked more pot than you. I have been a supporter of legalization for decades but that doesn't make it a healthy habit, especially if it's used every day. Being in a cloud isn't that enjoyable anymore. I have no desire to restrict your use, Im just suggesting a healthier lifestyle.

TEA party was an annual flower that may or may not be replanted, or really more like artificial turf that's already warn out.
The progressive movement started with perennials and grew into evergreens. Now they're trying to cut us down but it's too late.

Antiwar marches during the Bush/ Cheney years, TEA Party, Occupy Wall Street, The Bernie Revolution, the youth marches for smarter gun control, the teachers strikes happening everywhere recently--- all these movements are basically becoming one .

And it's scaring the establishment to death.

Only problem with that--the legal drugs are the ones killing the most people, including tobacco and alcohol.
