The problem I have isn't with transparency, but the illusion of transparency with the underlying intent to inflict damage - political or otherwise - on an opponent. This entire administration hasn't shown even a reasonable maturity level, so forgive me if I don't find their intent sincere.....
The only thing that transparency can damage is deception.
Then why do you and others endorse an administration that constantly trashes transparency and promotes deception?

Now I'm not saying politics isn't without it's bullscheisse, but really, hold onto some higher standards, eh?
The topic is literally about this Administration making rules to make scientific data public...please try to keep up Lucash.

This is really just more of the Trump swamp being created
I fail to see how releasing raw data creates a swamp. In fact, it would seem to do the opposite.
Exactly...

Liberals are actually arguing AGAINST transparency, public discourse and debate.

No, we're arguing against a scam that you can be sure will remove even more information than the E"p"A already has from public scrutiny.

In all honesty, I think that is the intent behind the rule change.
This will be the last time "honesty" and this proposed new rule are used in the same subject.

Yes, that's exactly what is going on here. Those that candidate / President Trump fool every time are just willing to be fooled again by this scam and the scam artists behind it.

Give us all a break. They have already removed transparency when they removed Climate Change from their website. They roll back environmental protections like they were from an invading planet and were softening up ours for the attack and they remain firmly anti-science.

And now you are telling us that this maneuver is some gesture of information? I'm sorry that you enjoy being this gullible but that's where its at. Hook, line and sinker.

Obviously. I realize that, but you fail to see my point. I'm not talking specifically about THIS situation RW. I am talking about the administration in a general sense; I'm trying to hammer home the fact that this administration has a tendency to deceive, obscure, lie, etc.

You're honestly going to tell me that this administration is some beacon of integrity as various former cabinet members, staffers, etc. are dropping left and right - some being indicted for crimes and others telling all about 'more of the same'. Really?

Call this administration what it is...full of s**t. They're not draining any swamp. They are as I said before: more of the same (and I'd call them out even if they were Dems btw).

Have some standards friend. Why defend them?

And you folks don't think that the EPA ever does "agenda driven analysis"?

You're trying to take the transparency high ground for an administration that has done its best to bury everything about global warming on any government website over which it has jurisdiction? Really?

How do you manage to maintain your cognitive dissonance and continue to function?
