People have poured out in all the provincial capitals of the country in protest. This court decision just adds yet more insult to injury.

1) The magistrates in the tribunal decide that it was sexual abuse; not sexual assault (rape) even though she was gang raped by five men.

2) A week or so after this court sentence an "administrative error" puts all her personal data on Internet: photos, full name, ID number; you name it - so much for victim anonymity in rape cases.

3) The same magistrates decide that as the defence is appealing, the convicted can be released on bail, no matter that they are accused of a another sex offence, which is currently being investigated.

Now, Catalan politicians that disobeyed the Constitutional Court and held an illegal referendum on independence have been held in prison since October in preventative imprisonment, even though there still has been a trial, (therefore technically innocent still) while these rapists, who have already been found guilty once and are being investigated in another sex offence case, have been set free!

The Spanish Legal System need seriously overhauling and magistrates like these need to be thrown out of the Judiciary.

Cheers
