Lyin' Jim Kelly has destroyed his credibility, his career and he needs to resign for the good of the country. Instead the report now is that Trump is considering appointing him to head up the VA. Talk about a no-win appointment that would be worse than resigning ...

The outrage of Trump fans at every one of these stories over the past year is understandable. If this story were the first or only one about Trump being called an idiot or a moron by his senior staff, it would be shocking and disbelieved by many. However, we have had these stories on a weekly basis and each time the foam dies down, they have proved to be accurate in the ensuing angry exchanges and staff firings. It is standard procedure now. Why Trump is unable to build an administration is an important aspect of American policy at this time. Partisan denial and deflection have lost all credibility. Kelly...R.I.P. ................

Trump has even less credibility with the truth then Kelly does, more recently Trump and his apologists claimed Dr. Jackson was 'thoroughly vetted' before he nominated him to head the VA. Yesterday we found out both Karen Pence and her physician expressed grave concerns about Jackson's behavior and prescribing methods to Gen. Kelly and they were not only ignored but Dr. Jackson was put in for a promotion for another star and to head the VA, by Trump himself.
Trump is not only corrupt, virtually his entire administration is dysfunctional, as we're witnessing on a near-daily basis now.

Employee turnover in the pursuit of excellence is a good thing........... Which, in this case, means those who leave the Trump administration, for whatever reason, struggle to find other jobs, because they're branded as unemployable due largely to their distorted sense of reality. In my day, they called it brainwashed, nowadays its called Catechize Indoctrination Authorization.
Or CIA for short

I don't suppose that any of the sources on this story are on the record?
Which is an accepted standard. It does not denote deception.
In the current media environment where several news outlets (NBC being one of them) have run stories that were wholly and or partially untrue based upon the testimony of "Unnamed sources" then I think this must be taken with a grain of salt. For folks on the left (which includes the entire staff at NBC news) , this story stinks of confirmation bias. This sounds exactly like what the NBC people think of Trump so when a source gives them what they want to hear they run with it. Kelly has fired a bunch of people. Literally all of their sources could be disgruntled former employees but they are not listing them as such. Maybe this does not deserve the same level of disdain as the pizza gate story but based upon the "evidence" of unnamed confidential sources that story is as valid as this one. Hence, my questioning the story. Incidentally, I am not questioning whether or not this was written as a news story or not. NBC obviously thinks this is news and they did at least give some space to the White House denials of the story content.
The current media environment as you put it is only a result of the conservative goal of tearing down the media to try and delegitimize any stories that does not serve their cause or President Trump. Its a lie and one that is doing a great deal of damage to the nation. We all watch the antics of this President daily and antics is the word. We see a man that is infantile, emotional, dishonest, dishonerable with a profound and demonstrated lack of understanding of events and even his own position. From his tweets, through "Fox and Friends" to his daily briefings literally being reduced to one step over a picture book he's been a disgrace and an embarrassment. He is an idiot. It is not a stretch of the imagination that frustrated individuals stuck dealing with this guy would blurt it out from time to time.
The funny part here is that due to your issues with the President you think I am defending him here. I am not. I take issue with this story because it sounds greatly like NBC went and found several people that Kelly fired and then asked if they could say anything damaging about him. The problem I have with it is that this story does not really jive with Kelly's history as I know it. Is it remotely possible that this man who has spent his entire life in the military is unable to control his mouth around subordinates while talking about his superior? Yeah, I suppose that there is a remote possibility of that. The thing is, the behaviour that they are accusing General Kelly of is behaviour that would get you kicked out of the military. Men who reach the rank of General have more discipline than that. So you will have to excuse me if I don't accept the stories of unnamed sources about a man who has honorably served this nation for his entire life. I disagree. You suggest a "Fox News" style investigation to get what the reporter wanted to hear and that does not appear to be the case.
We have watched this clown in the White House for over a year now. Do you really find it that hard to believe that he would be referred to as an "idiot" by those that watch this ignorant disaster stumble through on a daily basis literally just feet away?
I don't find it any stretch that a Marine would look at an idiot in action and name same.
I also find this resitance by the Right to standard journalistic practices regarding sources nothing more then an extention of their "fake news" camapaign that is irresponsibly and purposely shredding a key element of a free society.

According to C2C this is news... You are among the most blinded and conned people when it comes to President Trump.
You hold him to nothing while you ignore all his idiocy, ignorance and lack of honesty. My side by the way is not the one that came up with "Pizzagate", Vince Foster, Kenya-gate,...do you have time in your day for the full tabloid quality list?

I'm sorry...I can't take this story on face value...I agree with the others that no one who reaches the status of General Kelly would so hazardly venture his personal opinion to someone who intentionally leak it.
It's more likely former employees he's fired who admittedly may have had grievances, or not, and went to the media and fed them things which while not confirmed would make for good evening ratings in a 24hr news cycle.
Do I think Kelly has to do a lot of hand-holding when it concerns President Trump, yes, from all appearances, yes....it appears though he's finally settled into the role to a degree Kelly, the RNC, and most of the Party leadership can endure.
So yeah....grain of salt kinda story here. It pains me to say it, you know the high regard I hold the men and women that serve this nation in but Chief of Staff Kelly has already established that he will lie for the President, something I would have never thought a man of his quality would. So his making a comment like this is not exactly so far from believable.

Do I think that someone like Kelly would call Trump an idiot in front of subordinates? Not a chance in hell.
Do I think that Kelly would call Trump an idiot in front of subordinates that he planned on firing? Are you freaking kidding me?? That is the really idiotic thing in this report. Kelly was literally brought in to fire a ton of people and hunt down some of the leaks in the Whitehouse. Now NBC news decides to trust the information received from the people he fired? WTF. Any other time they would say that these are possibly disgruntled employees but because it is Trump and they want to believe it, they don't even suggest that their sources might have an agenda.

'Sources Say' is Greek for 'Fake News' It is not gossip when it comes out of Gen. Kelley's mouth. He has been caught on tape that is available about what he knew about Rob Porter.
In addition we have Kelly on tape attacking Rep. Wilson with incorrect information, trashing DACA individuals and even "joking" about being stuck as Trump's Chief of Staff.
So this is very believable.

Quoting limited to 5 levels deep
Do I think that someone (even someone on the Whitehouse staff) would hold the opinion that Trump does idiotic things? Sure, I could see that happening Do I think that someone like Kelly would call Trump an idiot in front of subordinates? Not a chance in hell. Do I think that Kelly would call Trump an idiot in front of subordinates that he planned on firing? Are you freaking kidding me?? That is the really idiotic thing in this report. Kelly was literally brought in to fire a ton of people and hunt down some of the leaks in the Whitehouse. Now NBC news decides to trust the information received from the people he fired? WTF. Any other time they would say that these are possibly disgruntled employees but because it is Trump and they want to believe it, they don't even suggest that their sources might have an agenda. How the hell has this media fabrication not been moved....

I would say that those still employed are protecting their jobs if they choose to remain silent.
That aside I see no identification of sources, so please share with me that these were released fomer employess, although it would not change the narrative but please - show me where they are disgruntled former employess.
As to an agenda, perhaps these sources do have one, to inform Americans of what is going on with this remarkably dysfunctional President.
