Deals within deals. The two Koreas seem to be working together for their maximum mutual benefit. If they both get what they want, a nice medal for Trump will nice and won't cost either of them a won. |

Kim Jong Un may be testing Trump but he only gets one shot. He will not like it when Trump retaliates. |

Libs and their non stop attempts at foreign meddling and regime change.... Meanwhile....No question, Donald Trump is worthy of the Nobel peace prize. But the Nobel peace prize is not worthy of Daddy. |

That's not necessarily so. Despite the overblown drooling over President Trump by his conned base if peace come to the peninsula and he is a part of it then fine. He will share it with the two Korean Leaders. One of whom is the real driving force as he no doubt always planned once he had the negotiating power of nuclear weapons. |

If at the end of these talks there is a clearly defined path that North Korea has agreed to follow so that they eventually give up their nuclear ambitions, I will absolutely agree that Donald Trump is warranted a Nobel Peace Prize. |

I honestly do not foresee any scenario under which North Korea actually gives up its nuclear weapons altogether. Kim Jong Un wants to ensure that he maintains control of North Korea for the rest of his life. With the United States having a considerable force stationed just to his south, the only way he can be certain that his regime won't be toppled by a U.S. led invasion is to ensure that any such invasion leads to a nuclear counter attack. But Kim wants to make China happy, because China is his county's biggest trading partner and China runs a certain amount of interference for NK on the world stage. So, he's at least going to pretend that he's negotiating in good faith. The end result, however, is most likely that he will declare that the U.S. is being unreasonable, demanding too much, and giving too little. And there is a pretty good chance that since this is the Trump administration, there will be a fair amount of truth to that. |

Trump lusts for that NPP. It tickles his ego and would give him a real image boost as Congress heads into the fall elections. Both Koreas know this. Whatever the deal is that the two governments are working on together, the USA will be powerfully motivated to play its role. Trump has been set up by the Koreans with masterful skill and subtlety. |

What deal do you see North and South Korea coming up with that will actually eliminate NK's nuclear program? I can't see reunification as a possibility, given that SK isn't going to want Kim Jong Un as their leader, and there is no way Kim will abdicate from his leadership of NK. At best I can see the possibility of reducing tensions, perhaps demilitarizing the border to some degree, and perhaps reopening some trade between the two countries. But I don't see SK wanting the U.S. to pull out of SK, nor NK being willing to give up its nuclear weapons, not after they've worked so hard to get them. |

It would be funny if that is Trump's intend. You won't be laughing then.
