There is an old joke that applies here.
"How can you tell when a politician is lying? His lips are moving"
I feel truly sad that the education system in my state has failed this young man since he was obviously not aware of this universal truth.
And what truth is that?
The truth that all politicians lie. Constantly.
Not like this guy. Saying one thing to the parents of the victims of Parkland and another to the NRA? There is no way you can favor that, excues it or cute it away.
Bill Clinton was actually famous for doing exactly what you describe. D, you too? Say it isn't so.
Are you actually claiming that this President does not lie far and beyond his predecessors or anyone else in politics today?
That his dishonesty is nothing short of a weekly, daily or sometimes hourly event?
How many televised cabinet meetings, meetings with opposition Senators and interviews do we have to witness where things said are then unsaid, resaid or never said again?

Politicians have always tailored their message. Cry me a river
No, not like this. One moment he's a big shot that is not going to bend to the NRA and the next moment he appears at their convention kissing their rifle butts. Trump offered to meet halfway. Blame David Hogg for failing to step up.

Skipping leg day is the equivalent of a woman having an abortion. You're ashamed of it, and it was probably unnecessary. #MAGA #wallsnotwars

Corrine Brown used to represent my area. Trust me on this, Trump has yet to reach her level.
I am on record as saying I wish someone would take away his twitter privileges.
Beyond that, using the example you used, saying one thing to parkland families and another entirely different thing at an NRA rally is exactly the kind of thing that Bill "I feel your pain" Clinton would do. We called him "Teflon Bill" or "Slick Willy" because none of the lies and other crap he pulled ever stuck to him. I can see that you now understand how frustrating Clinton was as president for conservatives.
So, in effect, I have felt you pain.

The Parkland protestors fit a model we haven't seen as much of since the 1960s -- the student protest.
BTW, the term "Slick Willy" as applied to Clinton is a piece of vulgar slang that long predates Bill's political rise. It is a reference to multiple successive sex acts with the same woman. Like a gang bang but all-volunteer. It was applied to Clinton because the name fit but the original willy was a wet penis not a person. If ya love the South, learn to talk Southern.

"He's a professional liar who will say anything to appease whatever crowd he's at," Kasky said. "If he's in front of families he might say something in support of common-sense gun reform, but then when he's at the NRA he'll say something to get a big cheer."
Wow, he acts as all politicians have who have ran for office. What a shocker. I agree with this kid - if America is overrun by terrorist white supremacist groups, that makes it vital that we citizens arm ourselves to defend all Americans from this threat! Why do Democrats want to leave people at the mercy of these people?
Common sense gun reform....arm yourself.
Specifically, you should own, at a minimum, a modern semiautomatic rifle like an AR-15 that is simple to operate, easily accessorized for the individual user, reliable, and rugged. Liberals call these “assault rifles,” though they are not. Insisting that liberals be accurate when describing what they seek to ban is “gunsplaining,” a heinous macroaggression that is right up there with assuming someone’s gender on the Big List O’ Liberal Sins.
If you don't agree with me, you clearly hate science. Why do liberals hate science so much?
