Reagan laid the foundation for the greatest economic run in US history. He also bailed out the social security system. It is more accurate to claim Reagan saved the American Dream.

The two worst actions, the War on Poverty efforts of LBJ and the signing of NAFTA & GATT by Clinton and the GOP have undoubtedly done more to harm minorities and the working poor than any legislation in American history.

We won't get another Reagan but Trump is filling in nicely.
"No. No he won't. We'll stop it."

Under Reagan, the changes in the antitrust laws and our tax code opened the door for corporate predators like Bain Capital and transnational corporations to devour local businesses with cheap labor overseas and tax loopholes.

NAFTA and the other trade agreements were already in the works before Slick Willy signed them.

WASHINGTON -- President Bush signed the North American Free Trade Agreement yesterday, and his successor-in-waiting Bill Clinton immediately announced that he would not seek the treaty's renegotiation.
