Eff this guy. We'll bash Trump if we want to. This is the effing United States. And I don't recall this guy getting all up in the grills of conservatives when they were dumping on Obama, day in and day out, with far less cause.

He's probably looking out for his own ass. Slick Willie was banging Karmala Harris years ago when he was in his 60s and Harris was 29. Consent or not, who knows.

Lol... Slick Willie is the only Democrat with common sense left.
He's offering sound advice to his left wing compatriots, suggesting they focus on the issues rather than the tweets & such. Democrats are far too emotionally invested in their Trump Derangement to recognize they're cutting off their own dicks by focusing on the man as opposed to offering viable alternatives. In the long run this hostile strategy will not do them any good. If Dem's want to regain their positions they're gonna have to come up with something more mature than their current "F@ck Trump" strategy.

I think there is some real wisdom in what Brown is saying. Leave the Trump stuff to Mueller and concentrate on the policies that were popular with Sanders' voters last time and are mainstream Democratic goals now. These plans have big majority support with voters across the country --- health, education, immigration, environment --where Trump has promised and failed to deliver or where the GOP has simply got nothing. Everybody knows who Trump is now and everybody knows how he operates. Get down to real world specifics and the conservatives are left sucking wind.

Rev. Al put it beautifully a decade ago when the Democrats offered the first real healthcare plan, "it isn't about Obama, it's about yo Mama." Think and learn, Democrats, think and learn.

If the old saying, "it's the economy stupid", still holds true the democrats are in a boatload of trouble. Maybe democrats could actually learn something? A pro-business administration ACTUALLY helps working families. Crazy heh? Who wants to go back to the "you didn't build that" and "we'll tax them if they try to leave" days?

I would agree that the Democrats need to come up with a plan to govern that excites their base and gets them enthusiastic to support Democrats. Simply expecting their base to support them because "Trump evil" is the same trap Hillary fell in. It makes it easy for the candidate not to have to stand for anything that might come back to bite them later because they did or didn't follow through. But telling people that we're going to continue the same ole', same ole' prior to Trump just isn't going to be an easy sell. We don't like Trump. We're not fond of the Republicans. But running as the "Not Trump" and "Not the Republicans" candidate isn't going to get the Democratic base energized.

Sell us on universal health care. Talk to us about how we can keep our society safer from mass killings. And really, really talk to us about how income inequality can be overcome and the American wage earner can actually start getting the portion of the economic pie they deserve, and not just the crumbs the Republicans want to throw them.

There is no "illegals come first" policy, that's just more hyperbolic BS cut from the imaginations of conservatives who have to find any and all excuses to vilify liberals/Democrats.

No, it actually is the democrats top priority. You need to figure a way to sabotage the economy, there's too many working families benefiting and too many families leaving the welfare roles, that spells disaster for the purveyors of welfare.

What's your plan? You have to go big, promise everyone free healthcare, a new iPhone, free cable TV, double their SNAP allotment and promise the wealthy will pay for it all? That sounds like it could garner a lot of votes. You better rev up your attacks on the business community as well, they are far too successful and creating way too many jobs.

Good luck!
