Quoting limited to 5 levels deepItaly's new PM backs Trump on re-admitting Russia into the G7

New Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte threw his weight on Friday behind U.S. President Donald Trump’s call for Russia to be included once more into Group of Seven meetings.

“I agree with President (Trump). Russia should be re-admitted into the G8. It is in the interests of everyone,” Conte said in a tweet from Canada where he is due to make his international debut as Italian leader at a summit of world power leaders.

Strange!!! I could have sworn that the Trumpers had been screaming that this particular Italian PM had usurped the will of the Italian people? Now he seems to be a hero?

Well, there you go, it only goes to prove that Trump supporters had their integrity surgically removed before voting Trump.

Cheers

The PM were referring to was the one that the disgraced President attempted to impose when illegally vetoed the choice for Financr Minister due to his criticism of the EU
Right, my mistake - apologies - H
Lost the plot have you Hugh?

This morning we face an unprecedented break with our Canadian neighbors, one of our closest allies and biggest trading partners. And all this from the pique of a single American politician, one who can't get his facts straight and has taken to insulting the Premier on tweets. This is a crisis and a disaster without parallel in the history of the USA. This bizarre guy, whom nobody thought would be or should be president, is now off to chat with the head of a rogue state whose nuclear weapons have threatened our Pacific allies.

How characteristic of Perspectives that this critical, unprecedented crisis is being discussed through the exchange of pasted-on memes and fact free name calling. America is lurching ahead down a very dangerous path and the right wing is left behind in the playground throwing mud. You'll be glad when I am gone and so will I.

Oh Gawd...!

I grew-up playing Clue, Monopoly and Risk.

I can still remember the neighbor's kid who always refused to lose when playing Risk. If your armies were on the march, and headed for world domination (a thought process that most of us 'far' right-wingers have, ....) he, the across-the-street neighbor kid, would suddenly shake the Risk board, spilling all of the armies onto the floor, and declare, ....EARTHQUAKE....! (You had to have been there, .... )

What was dangerous was the immigration policies or the past. Anything which could be done to change then was worth the effort.

The belief that past immigration policies were a danger needs some sort of clarification, given the enormous and well-studied role of immigration in our nation's history. I can't imagine what you are thinking of: which immigration when and what dangers it produced. The only people who might conceivably think all past immigration was bad would be radical Native Americans who are sore at the white men for coming over here and destroying their nations.

Here, I spoke more broadly of the West. See Rotherham, 9/11, Pulse, Bataclan, Charlie Hebdo, San Bernardino, Boston Marathon, Nice, Arianna Grande, Ft Hood, and the London Underground

Immigration is an existential threat to Western Civilization, and until it is halted and reversed, relationships maintained by NATO, NAFTA, or the G7 are quite worthless and expendable.

some figures are not correct, though the scale of change is still great.

and the West will rather have to beg Russia to return to G8, I presume the words of Kremlin that we don't need G7 membership were not paid due attention.
The West needs Russia due to its growing problems and internal tensions. :)
I have to say after some time of absense here - if you don't scratch the West - it doesn't bother you any more :)
Goood morning GULAG!!!
