Journalists covering President Donald Trump's meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore this week were given free USB-powered fans as a gift.
Security experts say anyone who plugs the fans in is at risk of getting hacked.

Barton Gellman is a rabid anti-Trumper as per the rest of his Twitter feed - so no evidence only the routine speculation and conjecture because Drumpf.

So his anti-Trump feelings mean these fans could not possibly be what he says they could be?

the fans could possibly be ....

just a fan.

Could they be flash drives loaded with malware? Maybe. This just looks like a neverTrumper taking an opportunity to take a s**t on the Korean Summit which is generally considered positive news.

Generally considered positive news by Trumpers, yes. And what this guy says doesn't affect what ANYONE thinks about that circus in any way. Your thoughts are the same, so are mine.

You think just because it's THIS guy, it must be bad. Now you know how many feel about the Liar in Chief.

No. Progress on the Korean peninsula is praised by objective folks - of which you are obviously not a part. :)

> liar

On a thread where some IT guy conjectures about what could be on a USB fan on another continent.

The person whose opinion this non news "opinion piece" is fabricated on....

Depending on your "news" sources slant this article could have just as easily been titled...

Journalists covering the Trump-Kim summit were given free USB fans — but security experts warn they may (or may not) be Trojan horses full of malware

:dunno:
Only liberals can choose not to go down the road to widespread, systematic violence.

Didn't Wilmy always tell conservatives to do research first?
Kate Steinle was separated from her family permanently but leftists didn't seem to mind.

Can we all hope that Rachel Madcow got one of these?
