The Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies is an international agreement to which some 227 nations, including the USA are parties. It bans the placement of weapons of mass destruction in orbit, on the moon, etc. I suspect this is Trump's back door attempt to get the USA out of this international agreement which prevents nuclear weapons from hanging over our heads. Great idea!
I posted the treaty with the link to the UN Website and the article covering all this... 5 days ago in this thread...

But here you go...

RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY
2222 (XXI). Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies

ARTICLE IV
States Parties to the Treaty undertake not to place in orbit around the earth any objects carrying nuclear weapons or any other kinds of weapons of mass destruction, install such weapons on celestial bodies, or station such weapons in outer space in any other manner.

The moon and other celestial bodies shall be used by all States Parties to the Treaty exclusively for peaceful purposes. The establishment of military bases, installations and fortifications, the testing of any type of weapons and the conduct of military manoeuvres on celestial bodies shall be forbidden. The use of military personnel for scientific research or for any other peaceful purposes shall not be prohibited. The use of any equipment or facility necessary for peaceful exploration of the moon and other celestial bodies shall also not be prohibited.

Trump needs to focus more so on the male vote. He should have nationalized the Boy Scouts when they decided to admit girls.

This treaty does not address actions in the event of invasion by aliens from another planet....I'm sure that the Trump protocol trumps the UN jabbering.......... :machinegun: :moonbat:
