He's earned a one way ticket to Venezuela, Cuba or North Korea. I won't blame him entirely, he is undoubtedly a victim of liberal brainwashing.

Some people, Che, believe starvation is better than being an exploited worker in the US. Funny, most people that live in communist countries want to come to the US to clean toilets.

And we wonder how we get these types of people as the majorities in our top ranks of military, fbi, cia, and other upper echelons of the gov't...this dude's only mistake was being overt....

It's an Officer Training Camp on the lines of Sandhurst, not a hippy commune - whatever is the world coming to?

Yes, you can wear civvies off duty, but nothing, every, unbecoming of the good name of the service, be it A Karl Marx T-shirt of a KKK one.

I'm rather curious about the butt hurt on this. See, another soldier/cadet, Vasillios Pistolis, is a neo-nazi sympathizer and actually marched in the charlottesville march with the various fascists, etc. and he gets what amounts to a slap on the hand...but this guy (from what i know of it) gets discharged over expressing his opinion?

So...why is the nazi still in the military, but the socialist/communist booted it? Are they saying that nazism is a set of values that works for the military? I hardly think so as my grandfather and other family fought that s**t tooth and nail.

Had Rapone served in Vietnam, he would have been "fragged" rather than get a "Less than Honorable" discharge.................

Disgrace to the Uniform...

Less than Honorable is a gift... Should have been Dishonorable...

And a Year in Leavenworth to show him the error of his ways...

Trump needs to focus more so on the male vote. He should have nationalized the Boy Scouts when they decided to admit girls.

And yet throughout history we have had occasions of people who have done disgraceful things while in uniform or under the US banner - and yet they're often praised and/or their actions ignored. Funny that...one would think that if we actually valued honor, etc. etc. we'd actually honor just the ones who have acted honorably while ditching the ones who haven't.

Yet do you see any differentiation at all when people are told to "support our troops"? No, it's jingoism and mass nationalism to a T.

Ultimately, the solider makes the uniform, not the other way around. Like a flag, it is a simple representation of the principles. A flag doesn't act upon those principles, the individual in or out of uniform does, and if their conduct is unbecoming a soldier, should it really matter whether or not they are in uniform or not?

If character is what you do regardless of where you are - then how can they toss out one person and keep another who also was engaging in conduct unbecoming?

Seems to me it comes down to two possible explanations. 1) They are following the rules and the rules haven't caught up to the reality of a modern society with wannabe neo-fascists elements. 2. They don't care or possibly support such elements (or dismiss it).

So...which is it? Do you kick both out because both of their conduct is unbecoming, or....do you admit you're allowing a known nazi fascist to pretty much get off scot free...

It's going to sound cliche...but, I truly think my late grandfathers and grandmothers who were military vets would be rolling in their graves. Or well, in their cases, spinning in their urns.

Unfortunately that's true. Now if only the head of the academy/whomever is in charge of the other guy stood by their alleged principles and kicked his ass out too...
