I only hope he has the opportunity to live in a communist country. Young people are often lured by the teachings of Karl Marx. I have to admit, when I was 20, I was once intrigued by the writings of Marx. Instructors can be very convincing and a young mind is vulnerable to such radical ideas. If he had a better understanding of the Russian revolution, post WWII politics, the rise of the Soviet Empire, Pol Pot and Mao's China I have to think he would feel rather foolish wearing that Che t-shirt.
When I was 20 I was riffing off of Ayn Rand and such....
Rand's "Virtue of Selfishness" helped to set me straight. Then I got my first paycheck and saw how much the government took, that sealed the deal.
I'm sure you're a decent guy PA, but having your entire world view hinge upon a hypocritical fiction writer who herself took government benefits is a bit...um....much? Ironic even. Dang it...Lucash....there is so many things with a 500 pounder commenting like this that is ironic but I am doing my best not to go for the easy soft ball...
So different than what I pictured in my mind's eye...I pictured you like the dude who shows up at 2:47 in this clip...

Only liberals can choose not to go down the road to widespread, systematic violence.

Well thank you, most people find me very amiable and generous. I don't know if you've ever read the book but the book, as I remember it, is more about human nature. The good feeling, "selfishness" one gets from doing challenging things, accomplishing something or helping others. It's not about espousing wealth and power. Being a good person feels food, doing things that make you feel good is selfish, selfishness is good..
