Are there any Mexican sources that actually give this guy the election or is this more posturing and fantasy making by American political watchers?

Shouldn't this by rights be in the Foreign forum?
The dude's gonna win....he's a lock.....do you not follow this shiat....we've known this for six months...

:dunno:

Mexico will be worse than Venezuela in 2-4 years....

:dunno:

Mexico will be worse than Venezuela in 2-4 years....

Mexico will morph into Venezuela.....

There are differences and similarities:

First, unlike Chavez AMLO (Andrés Manuel López Obrador) doesn't have a pot of money to dip into for grandstanding and distribution purposes. Mexico carries a lot of debt and has a corruption problem that is beyond belief. Everywhere, every place. PEMEX, however, was allowed to solicit bids from "outside oil companies" to increase oil production. This was done under Nieto. This was applauded around the world as PEMEX was known to be extremely corrupt and inefficient. AMLO has promised to stop this "foreign intervention" once in office. Oh boy. Amazing.

The "similarities" between Chavez and AMLO are breathtaking. One would have thought the mere idea that Mexican voters would support someone with the very same stupid ideas as one Hugo Chavez would be impossible. Nope. Here we go again, Chavismo Part II.

Here's what you're gonna see:

- "amazing trade deals" between Mexico and other corrupt governments. Triumphant stuff. Blared non-stop on Mexican media. "We don't need those silly gringo's, we'll show the sumbitches that Mexico will remain "independent" from Trump and his capitalistic bastards up north. We'll show em!"

- AMLO will gradually take-over the news media. Quietly at first, and then one-by-one seizure of opposition news companies. Chavez did it, so will AMLO.

- But here's the BIG thing to watch, just like Chavez, AMLO will taunt the Americans in speeches and party rallies. The sh$t flying between the two borders will be amazing to watch. Again, any Democrat running for Congress who fails to condemn AMLO will be highlighted by the conservative media, ...and thank God we still have one. THIS will be the biggest determinant of the 2018 elections, ...your stance on illegal immigration. The election of AMLO in one week couldn't have come at a WORSE time for liberals desperately trying to get back power. This will crush em, ...... :)

The drug cartels will run wild after this...

Tourism will plummet, the Mexican Peso will quickly drop in value and the big corporations with major investments in Mexico, read: Ford Motor Co., will be under enormous pressure to pull-up stakes....

Again, this is big.

Because it effects everything from immigration, to drugs, to trade, to the wall, to investment, to the large ex Pat community, to the border states and towns, to remittances, to gangs etc....

DID YOU NOT HEAR what his strategy was?

Forget Making Mexico Great Again....it's flood the border and try and take us down Cloward-Piven style...you are surely aware of Cloward-Piven?

I read the original source, El Universal.

At no any moment in that article, AMLO "calls for mass exodus to U.S."

Conclusion: the opening article (The Daily Wire) is propaganda.

You mean, just like current right-wing, conservative President, Enrique Peña Nieto?

Using Billions in Government Cash, Mexico Controls News Media

MEXICO CITY — Running a newspaper, radio station or television outlet in Mexico usually means relying on a single, powerful client that spends exorbitant sums on advertising with a simple warning: “I do not pay you to criticize me.”

That client is the government of Mexico.

President Enrique Peña Nieto’s administration has spent hundreds of millions of dollars a year in government money on advertising, creating what many Mexican media owners, executives and journalists call a presidential branding juggernaut capable of suppressing investigative articles, directing front pages and intimidating newsrooms that challenge it.

Despite vowing to regulate government publicity, Mr. Peña Nieto has spent more money on media advertising than any other president in Mexico’s history — nearly $2 billion in the past five years, according to government data compiled by Fundar, a transparency group. It found that his administration spent more than twice the generous media budget Mexican lawmakers allotted it for 2016 alone.

And that is just the federal money.

Today, ...in a few hours, .....one of the biggest news stories of the still young century.....

If this guy wins, the impetus for building that wall, will be overwhelming.

My best guess would be that Trump will take the funds out of the US Defense budget, and the libs will howl to the moon.... :)

We won't know the results of the Mexican elections until late tonight, or even tomorrow morning, but if AMLO wins, the American people are gonna wake-up with a dramatically changing world. It will make the building of that wall that much more urgent. Not only THAT, but there are rumors coming out of Europe tonight, via the 'far' left-wing BBC (.... ), that Bavaria's Seehofer is threatening to resign from the German coalition. If true, ...wow.

Dramatic stuff is in the offing.......

The world has, ...changed. The heavens have moved. Look up. The ever-sweeping "Zeitgeist" is now upon us.....

Posted Image

So, a 'far' left-winger has achieved political power in Mexico. Wuz dat mean?

First, he will fail, as all attempts at third-world socialism have failed.

Second, being a so-called 'populist,' he will have his face in front of the camera as much as possible. There will be rallies galore. There will be cheering in the streets. It will overwhelm Mexican news 24/7.

Third, like Venezuela and Argentina, this new political movement will grab all of the government jobs for their own supporters.

Fourth, the Mexican drug cartels and mafia will grow exponentially.

Fifth, international business operation in Mexico will grow stagnant, and then quietly uproot.

And it goes on and on, ......

But, what does it mean for Donald Trump? This could not have come at worst time for, ....Democrats. This is their worst nightmare. With many Democrats voicing support for "open borders," and daily images of a populist government in Mexico taunting the Americans/Trump, the elections in November 2018 are toast. It's over. The "war of words" between the two countries will only increase, and force American attention to view, on a daily basis, what is taking place south of the border. As the Zeitgeist has shifted in the skies above, this will be the primary topic of conversation in every household, ....illegal immigration. It will be the number one issue in American politics. The border wall will NOW be built, probably using money from the Defense Department.

More big stuff coming.....
