Trump says North Korea still 'extraordinary threat'; An apparent contradiction?

US President Donald Trump has renewed sanctions on North Korea, citing an "extraordinary threat" from its nuclear weapons - just 10 days after saying there was no risk from Pyongyang.

"There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea," he tweeted on 13 June, a day after meeting the country's leader Kim Jong-un in Singapore.

The God-Emperor always needs a demon to scare the congregation...

...and then, to exorcise that fear.

Or vice-versa. No logic required.

Wait an agreement from North Korea to consider talks to give up nuclear weapons with no plans for disarmament, pledge to give up nuclear weapons programs or inspection process to insure north korea gives up nukes doesn't automatically mean "There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea," ? Go figure..

Ever notice the only 2 people Trump refuses to speak ill of are Stormy Daniels and Vladimir Putin?

The sanctions were never lifted...

The current sanctions were put in place back in 2008 and renewed ever since by Obama and Trump.

The Sanctions being lifted are predicated on the DPRK disarming and abandoning Nuclear proliferation. When conditions of Disarmament are met the Sanctions will be lifted.

I think most of you need to stop believing what the Media tells you. Both sides are acting like reactionary fools to whatever they are told to think by the media...

For gods sake people... put the politics aside and just look at the issue.

North Korea needs to disarm under supervision before Sanctions can be lifted... PERIOD.

Do they pose a threat while possessing Nukes? YES

Is it in their best interest to disarm?? YES

Also note that China also has major Sanctions in place affecting the DPRK...

As do Russia and many other countries...

it may take a few years... but it will happen... but not in a week like all of you are crying about...

Trump needs to focus more so on the male vote. He should have nationalized the Boy Scouts when they decided to admit girls.

Does your left lug nut ridden agenda consider the positive aspect of Trump's historic meeting with Kim Jong Un? Two hundred heroes who were SEPARATED from their families and loved ones and remained forgotten until Trump arranged to bring them home.

The U.S. military said Saturday it was moving 100 caskets to the demilitarized zone between the two Koreans, to receive the remains of U.S. soldiers killed during the Korean War.

The cases will remain in the border village of Panmunjom for a few days until being sent into North Korea so the North can begin the process of returning the remains of Americans who were killed or died during the 1950s conflict, South Korea's Yonhap News Agency reported.

According to the agency tasked with overseeing issues POW/MIA issues, North Korea has as many as 200 sets of remains ready to be returned.

The return of the remains was negotiated during President Donald Trump's preparations for his June 12 historic summit in Singapore with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.http://www.foxnews.com/world/2018/06/23/coffins-at-dmz-to-collect-us-service-members-remains-from-north-korea.html
