The influx of immigrants into Europe is not comparable with a nuclear show down between two superpowers that would destroy all life on Earth other than xxxxroaches for hundreds of thousands of years to come, so what the strawberry feck are you talking about. Soviet Union!!!!+

No, it's worse. Nuclear war would have reset civilization a la the Black Death
Hiroshima was a Christmas cracker compared with a full nuclear exchange. You have absolutely no idea what a nuclear detonation entails, its immediate and lasting effects. We're talking about an irradiated planet, the destruction of the atmosphere, a series of nuclear winters, the elimination of all drinking water on the freaking planet. No edible plant life. And you bring up Hiroshima???

The black death did not destroy the planet or wipe out the ecosystem, the food chain, cause fatal genetic defects on every living thing, flora & fauna, on land and in the oceans.

The sad thing is that you haven't the slightest clue as to how idiotic your comment is.

Stick to hate-mongering and stay away from History.

Cheers and out

You're being melodramatic. First, nuclear annihilation is preferable to the pre-Trump immigration/refugee policies.

Second, there is plenty of drinking water in Hiroshima, which has been rebuilt. Moreover, Cherynobl has become a wildlife refuge, not a deadzone.

Skipping leg day is the equivalent of a woman having an abortion. You're ashamed of it, and it was probably unnecessary.

Ehem.

Who's being melodramatic in this thread?

Your own melodramatic views of European/western civilisation being destroyed by non-western immigrants is a sad misunderstanding of the history of the western cultures themselves and how our societies work.

Please explain HOW in real daily life would any European/western country be destroyed by these immigrants?

That would mean that there would be forces to destroy the democratic structures of our societies either from the top down and/or from the bottom up.
So, how would these happen in reality?

From the top down:
How would such a "force" demolish the constitutional or similar laws in any country and be replaced by something else?
That includes the EU constitutions as well for the most part of Europe.

Fromt the bottom up: If some groups of these non-western immigrants, who would want to destroy democratic values and principals, would start to gain power in some ways, why would you think there's no force to stop them?
Thousands/tens of thousands of western society groups including huge number of political parties (which we have plenty of in many European countries), police forces, national and EU military forces?

If you read history and also follow the current news from some of the Eastern European countries who are well destroying their fable democratic structures themselves by allowing non-democratic nationalists to destroy the democratic society and structures, then you should be more worried of our built-in self-destroying western societies rather than any outside force destroying it.

(I already know you and the likes of you cannot give any intelligent and well pondered answer...)

The BBC is unbalanced..............
It's the guy's English - he meant "biased" not realising that unbalanced; i.e., not in equilibrium, also means "mad" in English. It's known as a "false friend" in foreign-language learning. Spaniards misuse "molest" not realising it has a sexual-harassment definition because "molestar" in Spanish merely means "to bother." So you might hear, "Can I molest you a moment'" when what the person wants to ask is ·"Can I bother you a moment."

Democracy is irrelevent.

If some new form of government, or hell, a return to Soviet domination of Europe were nessecary to halt this influx, then it should be welcomed.

“What we don’t want is a massive illegal influx coming from the south to us, we want to keep Hungary a Hungarian country and we don’t think by definition that multiculturalism is good... If you think so, if people in this country think so, we respect that, but please don’t put pressure on us."

In short, citizens of Germany, France and now Spain will continue to "enjoy" watching their culture become "multicultural," while those in Hungary, Poland, Austria, Bulgaria and several other European nations take active measures to resist the open border policies.

Hiya, Gran! I now realise why Trump is such a pro-Russian enthusiast, and why he has people who actually vote for him. Zero Hedge is a pro-Russian blog run by a Bulgarian.

"On leaving, Lokey said: "I can't be a 24-hour cheerleader for Hezbollah, Moscow, Tehran, Beijing, and Trump anymore. It's wrong. Period. I know it gets you views now, but it will kill your brand over the long run. This isn't a revolution. It's a joke."

Economist and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman describes Zero Hedge as a scaremongering outlet that promotes fears of hyperinflation and an "obviously ridiculous" form of "monetary permahawkery." Krugman notes that Bill McBride of Calculated Risk, an economics blog, has treated Zero Hedge with "appropriate contempt".

Craig Pirrong, professor at the Bauer College of Business writes that "I have frequently written that Zero Hedge has the MO of a Soviet agitprop operation, that it reliably peddles Russian propaganda: my first post on this, almost exactly three years ago, noted the parallels between Zero Hedge and Russia Today."

Hello thar Mr. Mac!!!

I see you cherry picked wiki bout ZH!!! Here's the whole quote.

Quote:

Former Zero Hedge writer Colin Lokey said that he was pressured to frame issues in a way he felt was "disingenuous," summarizing its political stances as "Russia=good. Obama=idiot. Bashar al-Assad=benevolent leader. John Kerry=dunce. Vladimir Putin=greatest leader in the history of statecraft." Zero Hedge founder Daniel Ivandjiiski, in response, said that Lokey could write "anything and everything he wanted directly without anyone writing over it."[20] On leaving, Lokey said: "I can't be a 24-hour cheerleader for Hezbollah, Moscow, Tehran, Beijing, and Trump anymore. It's wrong. Period. I know it gets you views now, but it will kill your brand over the long run. This isn't a revolution. It's a joke."[5]

The Full Story Behind Bloomberg's Attempt To "Unmask" Zero Hedge
https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-04-29/full-story-behind-bloombergs-attempt-unmask-zero-hedge

More importantly, and unfortunately, Colin also was revealed to be an emotionally unstable, psychologically troubled alcoholic with a drug dealer past, as per his own disclosures.

All of these revelations were made clear to us long after we hired Colin, and unfortunately they were the catalyst that precipitated his full emotional collapse and ultimately led to his abrupt departure. All of these facts were also made clear to Bloomberg as part of its source "fact-checking." Surprisingly to us, Bloomberg had no problems running a sole-sourced piece by a disgruntled former employee who not only admitted he had major psychological problems, a checkered past, was unstable, but had also made clear his motive to "out" this website with hopes of crushing it and even issued death threats to Zero Hedge workers.

In short: in its desire to obtain ad-revenue generating clicks, Bloomberg provided a platform to a deranged person who held a major grudge.
