I pointedly said that they are ALL corrupt down there. I bet he resigns his speakership after impeachment and about 5 minutes more before it's taken away. |

Yes, i knew it. It's like Macri: when asked about $20 millions of public money that he gave to his crony, Fernando Miembro, without any licitation, he said (with stone face): "Error in data entry". Total, Clarín covers everything in Argentina, same like O Globo in Brazil. The rightie zombies swallow. And here we are. Other "fine", neoliberal mess in the making. |

The PMDB have been frusrated for years due to PT continuously winning presidential elections that they figure this is the only way back into power, and thats to impeach Dilma. For them it would also be a get out of jail card for many of them, seeing that they're up to their necks in corruption themselves. The irony of all this is that Dilma inaugerated the whole clean up of politics, but it ended up dragging down almost everybody from all parties, including her own The only guy known for being totally clean is Sr Suplicy, the former senator from Sao Paulo. If anyone should be the next president of Brasil, it's him |

The PMDB for all intents is a criminal enterprise, it's leaders are all under investigation and indictment for corruption. If they manage to pull off this impeachment/coup (golpe) against Dilma, based on flimsy charges of misrepresenting economic figures, Brazillians can kiss their democracy goodbye, possibly for decades. These are ruthless people whose families are tied to the 1964 coup. Once they grab power, watch the corruption probes to suddenly disappear Edited by Attaburnsinhell, Apr 2 2016, 11:46 AM.

One thing we have to bare in mind is the worldwide the upper 1% control more than half the wealth in the world, and they are scared to death that the other 99% want to take it away from them through democratic means. So there are efforts by these wealthy elites to shelter their wealth by subverting the democratic process, or more specifically, to game it to their advantage. They are consolidating the media, buying it up and using it to set people against each other. They control the markets, so they can manipulate them to cause economic downturns, blame it on governments they find unfavorable to them, destabilize those governments, place their people in key positions of power, like judges, and through their wealth they control everything. You end up with a feudalistic anti-society where the wealthy live within their gated communities or in lavish, expensive cities like London, New York or Monaco, while the rest of the population lives outside in powerless dystopian poverty |
