No, it isn't. I just read a story about it. Apparently, people are upset and imagine it is because the Internet exists and is filled with idiots. The ad has been pulled.

Apparently, the two girls in the middle are actually adopted sisters, by the way. |

No. The Internet allows enough ill minded people to come together and create an influence greater than common sense should grant. |

It's an ad (was an ad) for "The Gap". The objection was the "White Girl" using the "Black Girl" for an arm rest. Yeah, I know. |

No, I feel like they should all be smiling though. One kid has a big goofy grin, another has a half smirk, and two are just straight-faced. |

The two are adopted sisters. Unfortunately, politically correctness leftists are accusing the Gap for racism. Next time if you see a Black person drowning, you may as well turn away. If you try to help, leftists may conclude that you are drowning that Black person because of a picture posted on line. |

why won't a company like the gap shrug unwarranted criticism off? If I were the marketing director, I would have kept the ad up and gotten excited about the free media I was getting... |

I know the mother of the two girls. They're sisters, the black girl is adopted, she's from Africa The mom is Brook Smith, you've seen her on Grey's Anatomy, or better yet, look at the taller girl, who is almost a clone of her She played the girl in the well in Silence of the Lambs Theres nothing racist going on there. Photo sessions take hundreds of pictures in different poses, they probably thought it was benign |

Agreed...considering Gap stock has been tanking they need all the publicity they can get....these snowflake libs really need to mocked into a shameful non existence....of course that assume libs have an ounce of shame.... |

I don't think I could go so far as to call it racist. I do think that having the larger white girl resting her arm on and leaning on the smaller black girl is poor choice. The black girl doesn't look happy at all, which makes it a little worse. |
