Selling its US bonds is going to hurt Saudi Arabia a lot more than it is going to hurt the USA. The Saudi royal family is wobbling, trapped between its Wahhabi clerical controllers and the big majority of its citizens who are reluctant to hop off the Big Oil gravy train that provides free everything and a no-show job. But oil prices are off 50% and train is out of fuel. The Saudi military is inept and ham-fisted. The kingdom is having a helluva time fighting off the Iran backed Shia'a on the coast and finds itself outclassed in the Syria civil war. If KSA collapses into civil chaos, the Arab revolution will enter a new phase. |

Saudi Arabia: Legal Expert Says That U.S. Government Blew Up The Twin Towers On 9/11 http://www.inquisitr.com/3130396/saudi-arabia-legal-expert-says-that-u-s-government-blew-up-the-twin-towers-on-911/ Saudi Arabia is livid over the recent passage of a bill in the U.S. Senate that would allow 9/11 victims’ families to sue the Middle Eastern nation. The bill was recently passed by a unanimous vote, and while the Washington Times reports that President Obama has vowed to veto it, that hasn’t stopped the Saudi Arabian media from coming out swinging against the U.S. government. According to a Breitbart report, a reporter representing Saudi Arabia is now claiming that the U.S. planned and carried out the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon to create the war on terror. The article was written by Katib al-Shammari, a Saudi legal expert, and published in Al-Hayat, which is based in London. It calls out the United States for its recent threats to “expose documents” proving that Saudi Arabia funded the 9/11 attacks, as well as detailing the involvement of Saudi Arabia in the worst terrorist attack in history on U.S. soil. According to the piece, these threats fall in line with a United States policy he calls “victory by means of archives.” |

The treaty between the Saudi family and the Wahhabi fundamentalist mosque goes back to 1744, generations before the Kingdom was founded. From the beginning, the royal family has funded Islamist mosques, madrases, universities, charities etc. etc. all across the Muslim world and all dedicated to the propagation of the austere and violent interpretation of Islam of the Wahhabi sect. Nothing in the Arab world compares with the influence which Saudi money has achieved from Pakistan to Morocco. The radical Islam which Saudi has fostered all across the region is the seed bed from which not only Qaeda but ISIS and dozens of similar groups have sprouted. For much of this long period of fundamentalist indoctrination, the US remained blissfully indifferent. During the long Cold War period, the Middle East was a major battleground for the USA and the USSR. Russia's influence over the Assad family in Syria is a legacy of that struggle. Egypt under Nasser nearly tipped into the Soviet camp. In this crucial period, KSA was an utterly reliable bastion of anti-Communism and steadfast American ally. One thing for sure about the Wahhabis: they have no truck with godless Marxism! The royal family cheerfully turned its vast oil reserves over to American oil corporations, culminating in Aramco. When the USSR closed up shop, the dynamics of US Middle East policy shifted significantly. Anti-Communism lost its value and the violent rejection of Israel and Western influence generally became the focus of Saudi created Islamism. Was the Saudi family involved in the new militancy? You betcha! They invented. |

In the shifting sands of Middle Eastern politics, the Saudis have now made friends in Israel as America has tried to make friends with Iran....Anti-communism is soooo 1960s, as we have made friends with China, Vietnam, and Cuba...Palestine is eager to be friends with anyone willing to give them money...You must be adaptable to keep up...........
