Philly now that Trump has admitted all of his bluster was all a show and he will now buckle down and become "Presidential" moving forward...
Do you feel like you want a refund on your emotional investment?
No I think you're the same troll you've always been and you're trying to get me banned again.

The only one that can get you banned is yourself Philly, you're your own worst enemy on these boards. CT's question may have been flippant, but it is no less revelant.

I have confidence in your ability to maintain self control. Focus, friend..focus.

Now...back to the question, now that Trump is backing away from all of the blustery comments he has used to lasso the low brow, do you think you might reconsider supporting him?
It looks like he is trying to undo the damage that he has done with pretty much anyone that has an ounce of sense.

Where do you stand?

My hope is that if Trump actually gets to the Oval Office, his handlers will have sat him down and said "Ok, look all that bs you talked during the campaign, great for getting people to the polls, but now we need to take a look at the Big Picture, and set him straight on what he has to do"

There can be no true despair without hope.

Skipping leg day is the equivalent of a woman having an abortion. You're ashamed of it, and it was probably unnecessary.

Not voting is a resounding "vote" which I have done is the past to voice disgust with both candidates....Actually there is absolutely no need for a republican to vote for President if Trump goes third party....Such an election will be a coronation for Hillary............ :banghead:

I hear your frustration but having this difficult choice is one of the main reasons that has made your country great.
You can never have a candidate who is 100% for your view on how the country should be run.
You need to show up and tell folks why you vote even if your vote is for the lesser of two evils.

"We didn't vote because both candidates are crooks"

Voting for the lesser of two evil continues to make you evil....If two political whores work for the same pimp, the prostitute you select is only prettier to you...... :pimp:

I wonder who Philly was referring to when he stated that he knew at least three republicans here who will vote for Hillary.

Donald Trump has already won this election because it is he who has given blue collar America a voice in this whole process.

And if anybody still thinks that liberals or the strain of republicans who post here who are liberal lovers are for working Americans, you need help.

At least Philly Rabbit is taking a stand.
At least Philly is having a go explaining why you should vote one way and not the other.

The Not Voting deal is very difficult for Aussies to reconcile.
The vote is freedom's triumph. It's a franchise and a privilege granted to us all in the free, democratic world.
If you do not vote you are denying the future.
You cannot say I voted for the other guy when IT hits the fan.
You cannot claim the high ground when your choice gets in.

You are nothing.
You have a parliamentry system, where there are multiple parties that represent a variety of beliefs and positions. In the US we're forced to choose one from culumn A or one from column B. It leaves people with such a limited choice that the majority no longer feel represented by such narrow ideologies.
Yes attaburnsinhell that is what we have. There are many parties but two dominant ones (Liberal & Labor).

It still means that if we don't vote we have no cause to complain if the person we didn't vote for gets in.
If we didn't have a say one way or another at the election then why should we have any afterwards?
Name the two most horrible politicians Australia has to offer

Naming my choices will not help you attaburnsinhell.
At present they are Tony Abbott and Bronwyn Bishop.

If I had to chose between the lesser of two evils I would.
I'd choose the ex Prime Minister Tony Abbott before I would choose the ex-Speaker of the House Bronwyn Bishop.

Abbott at least did what he said he would do.
Even if I disagreed with what he did he still stood up for what he believed in.
