Yes. What is fair to you may not be fair to me comrade.
Well, in this world, the one we live in.. That is the way it works.
Your magicland doesn't exist.
You know how HVAC filters work, but that's about it grandpa.

Seriously - give it up. Every statist meme that you post "you didn't build that" "fair share' are all excuses for a morally reprehensible system of coercion and force.

The only way to reduce the human population on Earth is to make it that having children is an expensive hobby, like it is in most modern first world countries. That is objective #1.

Whereas in the 3rd world, having children gives a family an economic advantage

The answer: pay people not to have children
Atta - there is a direct correlation to standard of living and the desire to have children.

Even in China the one child policy is obsolete.

The answer? government needs to stop wrecking the third world.
The reason populations in Europe, Japan are shrinking is for exactly the reason I stated, when given the choice most couples have no more than two children, many people noe chose to have none at all. Has nothing to do with government coersion, the market does it. Kids are expensive to raise

In poor countries children are put to work before the age of 10, the work the family farm or the rug factory. In some places females are sent off to slavery and prostitution. It's all about the market and the need for cash to survive. Give them birth control, some cash, send women out to work and kids to school, birth rates drop like a rock

Yeah...they are facts.
You didn't build squat and paying your fair share is a reasonable goal.

Trust me son, you don't win this fight. Your can whine until the cows come home but until you walk away you are going to be subject to taxes and you will still be dependent on the progressives that have built the house for you to play in.

"Fair share" is a fallacy. Fair is subjective. What is fair to you, might not be fair to me. Furthermore the social "contract" is unilateral and coercive./ Anything but a contract - and certainly not fair.

"You didn't build that" is bulls**t. Only individuals act. Only individuals choose. Business success is the result of providing a product or service other people believe is valuable to them. In that sense, other people are partly responsible for your success in business. Government, on the other hand, is a drain on business by imposing onerous regulations and taxes that increase the cost of doing business and makes it hard to provide products and services at a rate customers are willing to pay.

I just won it. Again.

and you will prove it by posting another off-topic obnoxious reply about how I should man up and go seasteading instead of exposing you to offensive positions.

Cost savings due to weed being much more expensive than Vaseline?

With this kind of crap, you unwittingly help the drive to legalize weed. More and more, people hear this type of stupid crap and then look around and see normal very day folks who have game going on but who also smoke pot.
As a result, this stereotyping doesn't carry the weight it used to. So continue your babbling..we thank you.

Funny how you understate...if at all, how the private sector is complicit in this.

The sun has been powering the planet we live on for billions of years before we came along..billions before oil and coal was created.
But do you really think accumulating green pieces of paper and shiny metals are the only incentive for humanity?..and you call progressives regressive.

From what I know about creative folks..money is more of a side benefit. The inventing itself..the process of getting there is the motivation.

Chasing wealth for its own sake has many moral hazards. Look at the black market for example, organized crime or shifty corporations who exploit people and resources.

The pieces of paper and shiny metals represent excess wealth, which in turn represents excess productivity.

That is how the natural ecosystem works - and what turned this barren rock into a world full of life. A tree turns minerals into fruit, in the same way sand will produce a tablet computer. The incentive is the same - existence, survival.

Now I do not think for a minute that a UBI would be sustainable, simply because there isn't enough excess wealth in the world and you have to calculate for the loss in productivity once UBI is implemented.

But lets say it is sustainable - that magical world of unicorns and money dropped from helicopters our friend cautionary tales lives in. What in this world - would incentivize an individual to produce?
First, I have not argued in favor of UBI. I am merely positing that soon, we may have the technology that would make the present model of capitalism obsolete.

Why do you keep ducking my questions about "incentive"..the idea that many driven people are not motivated by money?

"The pieces of paper and shiny metals represent excess wealth, which in turn represents excess productivity."

That still does not address my point..how chasing profit can be easily used as a justification to rescind moral considerations.
