Amid hope and hype, delegates have finished signing the Paris climate agreement at UN headquarters in New York.
Some 171 countries inked the deal today, a record number for a new international treaty.
About 15 nations, mainly small island states, had already ratified the agreement.
But dozens of other countries were required to take this second step before the pact came into force.
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said: "Paris will shape the lives of all future generations a profound way - it is their future that is at stake."
Speaking at the opening ceremony, he said the planet was experiencing record temperatures: "We are in a race against time I urge all countries to join the agreement at the national level."
"Today we are signing a new covenant for the future."

Yep, no crisis here ... March was only the warmest month on record for the world

In a year of record setting high temperatures in a decade of high temperatures. But there is no problem here...

Sadly, Mr. Trump and Senator Cruz are sure to withdraw America from the Paris Climate Agreement.
Governor Kasich, the only Republican candidate that has expressed a belief in the dangers of climate change, has little chance of wining the nomination. (perhaps that is one reason why)

What could have caused this divergence? The primary factor is that the amount of fabricated data used by NOAA has increased since 1980 from 12% to 47%. If NOAA doesn’t have station data during a particular month, they simply make the data up for that station. For some reason, they have been losing huge amounts of data in recent years, and now almost half of their data is fake.

Fake, ....fake, .....fake....!

Smoking Gun Of Fraud At NOAA
Posted on April 21, 2016 by tonyheller
A new study confirms my assertion that NOAA’s Climate Extremes Index (CEI) is fraudulent.

Since Americans first heard the term global warming in the 1970s, the weather has actually improved for most people living in the U.S. ….

For almost everyone in the U.S …. summers have remained relatively stable.

Global warming has made the weather better for most in U.S. — but don’t get used to it, study says – LA Times

NOAA’s CEI shows summers getting much hotter since the 1970’s, which is not true. They are simply making data up – and lying to the public and policymakers.

This fraud is standard practice at government agencies producing climate propaganda.

Multiple other national meteorological organizations also backed up the NOAA claim. You can keep being a denier but the rest of the world is moving on.

So you willing to sacrifice your lifestyle to reduce the global temperature by .003 degree for the next 100 years?

So how many developing countries in this agreement received delays in implementing standards, sometimes for decades...India and China received exemptions in the last agreement for up to 30 years................. :banghead:

If it makes a difference. I'll look towards the scientists to let us know what needs to be done and what it means. It may be that we have to plan on major climate change and start moving our growing regions, banning building in floodplains and coastal areas and moving people to areas that will be habitable.

More like 1.3°C. My lifestyle is carbon negative. I'm sacrificing nothing, but would if needed.

A recent comment in USA today by this guy:

Quote:

Weather Channel founder John Coleman has spent more than 60 years as a meteorologist, including seven years as the original weathercaster on ABC’s Good Morning America.

Quote:

On this Earth Day 2016, there is a great deal of frenzy about how our Earth is going to become uninhabitable, as the civilized activities of man allegedly trigger unstoppable global warming and climate change.

With the Obama administration set to commit the U.S. to the Paris climate agreement by signing our nation onto the document Friday, it is obvious that science has taken a back seat at the United Nations.

The environmentalists, bureaucrats and politicians who make up the U.N.’s climate panel recruit scientists to research the climate issue. And they place only those who will produce the desired results. Money, politics and ideology have replaced science.

U.N. climate chief Christiana Figueres has called for a “centralized transformation” that is “going to make the life of everyone on the planet very different” to combat the alleged global warming threat. How many Americans are looking forward to the U.N. transforming their lives?

Another U.N. official has admitted that the U.N. seeks to “redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy.” The former head of the U.N. climate panel also recently declared that global warming “is my religion.”

When all the scare talk is pushed aside, it is the science that should be the basis for the debate. And the hard cold truth is that the basic theory has failed. Many notable scientists reject man-made global warming fears. And several of them, including a Nobel Prize winner, are in the new Climate Hustle movie. The film is an informative and even humorous new feature length movie that is the ultimate answer to Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth. It will be shown one day only in theaters nationwide on May 2.

As a skeptic of man-made global warming, I love our environment as much as anyone. I share the deepest commitment to protecting our planet for our children and grandchildren. However, I desperately want to get politics out of the climate debate. The Paris climate agreement is all about empowering the U.N. and has nothing to do with the climate.

Global Warming: The biggest fraud in human history.

Mr Coleman is not a meteorologist. He has no degree in any science. He is (actually, was) a weather forecaster; someone that stands in font of a map or a green screen and reads the weather forecast prepared by the National Weather Service. He has no more claim to understanding climate science than a sportscaster.

What...? Huh...?

You've got every clown in the book commenting and providing thoroughly uneducated thoughts on "global warming" and you're worried about the "science credentials" of a meteorologist?

Here's a guy who does "let's play pretend" for a living, and is asked by the United Nations ( :rotflmao: :oyvey ) to provide HIS thoughts on global warming. Really. I'm not kidding. Liberal/socialist/communist stupidity at its finest! It is simply why this world is in the mess it's in. There are hundreds and hundreds of legitimate scientists who question the nonsense of global warming. But they are now shut-out from the debate. It's complete insanity. Dicaprio.... Really? I'm gonna take your word on the dangers of a macro atmospheric relationship? Him? An actor? WTF.....!

The time has come to ignore those that ignore science, reality and the signs around them. Their selfish, irresponsible nature and pathetic paranoia of Government needs to be removed from the equation. Responsible parties, mature and that come with reason and facts only.

Yes, ...yes, I quite agree.

We must throw-out all of the loony liberals, socialist do-gooders and big government apologists.

They are indeed "selfish" and "irresponsible." Perhaps we should take a lesson from Tomas de Torquemada and have them all chained to a wall and then whipped. We need to bring these people to reason, or "remove them from the equation." Liberals, ya just can't trust em.

Show kindness to the earth today by finding the nearest liberal and smack em one ...!

As scientific consensus increases, and evidence of AGW becomes more obvious, ideologically and economically motivated deniers become more shrill and unhinged. It would be comical, were the stakes less high.
