Quoting limited to 3 levels deephttp://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/uc-berkeley-touts-15-minimum-wage-then-fires-hundreds-of-workers-after-it-passes/The job elimination message comes as the campus is projecting a deficit of $150 million this fiscal year — 6 percent of its operating budget of $2.5 billion, which campus officials have blamed largely on state allocations that have not kept pace with campus needs.

Berkeley’s deficit was $109 million last year and $12 million in the 2013-14 fiscal year, campus officials told The Chronicle in February

No comrade, it's will be really difficult for UC Berkeley to convince the public that their decision has nothing to do with the minimum wage increase.
If the school is losing money, tell the board to take a pay cut or contribute more to their pension if they think it's important for the average worker to earn $15 an hour. No matter what the excuses they come up with, it won't fly.

Leftists always want someone else to walk their talk.
What's really difficult is getting you as a conservative to acknowledge truth and fact here.

But then damage before facts is the conservative way.

As I said earlier, can't be much to the conservative rejection of minimum wage if they have to lie about it.

The truth is UC Berkekey just learned an economic lesson.

When you charge more for a good or service, demand goes down.
Kate Steinle was separated from her family permanently but leftists didn't seem to mind.
