So, my mother uses an old Moto G that was my daughter's phone from 3 or 4 years ago and the other day complained a bit about it and I got the idea that I would get her a newer phone as a gift. Well it turns out that they are clearing out the second gen Moto X for only $199 for the 32GB model. The thing about most Moto Xs is that you can customize them. So last Thursday I ordered her a phone customized with the colors of her favorite football team (FSU) with her name engraved on the back. They delivered the phone today. That was one serious turn around on a custom phone to build the thing on Thursday/Friday and deliver it today even though it was not scheduled for delivery until Thrusday. Thank you Moto and FedEx.

So, if anyone needs a good GSM phone for a fairly low price ($199) here is the link.

Mind you, that phone is not a top tier phone by current standards but it is a solid phone. I considered getting the newest version for my mother but decided she would never use the capabilities of the current Moto X which is on par with the LG G4 and Galaxy S6 for capabilities. Anyway, when I went to the site in order to get information for this post I ran into a special they are doing on pre-made version of the Moto X Style.

$299 for a 32GB phone with 3GB of ram and a 21MP camera is an incredible price. So my friends, if you happen to need a higher end phone to replace one you may have broken and don't mind the style of these then follow this link.

That ridiculous price is only good till May 2 2016 but it is on a phone that will work on every single US carrier. It is fully unlocked and can work on Tmobile, Sprint, ATT, Verizon, all of them. It has all the US antenna.

I just figured I would share this in case there were any P.com members out there who just broke a phone. I have owned both of these phones so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Oh I am certain she will. Since one of my daughters has the same phone I joked with her that she now has tech support duties.

The newer model of the Moto X which is $299 that I linked is a phone that would have cost nearly $500 not too long ago. I don't know If any of our members need a phone but at that price I have joked about buying one as a spare lol.

Another option is to adopt what she already has.

I just updated my Mom's cell's ringtones.
