More than 125,000 appointments and operations have been cancelled and will need to be rearranged due to the strike, a result of the long-running dispute between the government and the British Medical Association.

Hunt warned the walkout would cause particular risks for patients needing emergency room treatment and those in maternity wards and intensive care units.
Only liberals can choose not to go down the road to widespread, systematic violence.

Well on other forums they are blaming it on a right wing conspiracy.

Just like the collapse of Venezuela and the USSR.

The UK spends $3.9k per person for healthcare each year, the US spends $9.4k - World Bank . The World Health Organisation ranks UK healthcare better than American. We also have private options for those who want it, but the NHS has guaranteed high quality healthcare for the whole population at a bargain price.

We should keep it and fund it, I don't want a 140% increase in healthcare costs to fund a worse system.

Because it is rationed.

Venezuelans spend less on toilet paper - must be a utopia, right?

It's been over 100 years since the American government has been conservative.

Attanomics has dominated for at least 80, and is the cause of every economic and market disaster since the greet depression
