Human gender obviously involves for some the psychological and climate change is pure physical science. One has nothing to do with the other besides that which the deniers of both wish to tie together for their odd form of politics. |

Clearly the time has come to ignore climate change deniers. This topic demonstrates how silly and desperate they have become over the subject. |

Sorry comrade, you just can't go on selectively accepting the arguments you find convenient as settled science. How is the prediction of the global temperature rising one one-hundredth or one one-thousandth of a degree 100 years from now considered settled science? |

Maybe it wasn't something that was prevalent in your generation but christ, it was with mine. The whole 'machismo' nonsense was eye rolling. Meh. What has it proven though? That certain groups had men in specific, possibly domineering/in charge, roles? Great, you can claim cave drawings without context, but off the top of my head I can raise you the Chambri people who are a matriarchy and as far as I've read, always have been. So what has your cave drawings "proven"? That some cultures evolved that way? That doesn't mean that men and women *must* fit those roles, identities, etc. It just means that in those cultures, that's how it panned out. Just because something is traditional, or 'has been around' a while doesn't mean it is accurate. Slavery and the view point of certain groups being inferior has existed in some form or another for millennia, but that doesn't make either right morally or scientifically. In the end, all this verbiage aside...my view is this: Everyone is different so be kind; The science is there, so accept it, and lets keep learning. |
