Bernie Sanders isn’t losing. Just ask many of his backers or listen to some of his own complaints. He’s being robbed, a victim of antiquated rules, voter suppression, shady arithmetic and a corrupt Democratic establishment. The swindle includes the South’s getting inordinate sway and the poor none at all. If Americans really had a voice, they would shout “Bernie! Bernie! Bernie!” until too hoarse to shout anymore.

Donald Trump isn’t winning. Just ask Ted Cruz, by whose strange and self-serving logic it is “the will of the people” (his actual words) that he and John Kasich collude to prevent Trump from amassing a majority of delegates so that some runner-up with less demonstrable support can leapfrog past him to become the Republican presidential nominee. Democracy in action!

I agree that Trump’s nomination would be frightening. I disagree that Cruz’s would be better. It certainly wouldn’t be more justified, but such rational thinking has gone missing in this year of losing gracelessly.

And in this era of irresolution. All too often, contests don’t yield accepted conclusions and a grudging acquiescence by those who didn’t get their way. They prompt accusations of thievery, cries of illegitimacy and a determination to neuter the victor, nullify the results or reverse them as soon as possible.

Bernie Sanders is losing. Hillary Clinton is still a horrible candidate. If the Republicans had anyone rational to offer as competition, she would be in serious trouble. She'll win, I expect. But only because the Republicans are just that bad.

Not wanting to vote for a poor candidate doesn't make me a sore loser. It makes me someone who wants better than we're getting.

It's okay. This is a war, so clinton and her cronies might win now, but as long as we breath, we'll keep fighting and we'll bring them down. Just takes time to do what is right.

Hey, you might need some extra boxes if you're moving to L.A.

You know what's sad? You make an excellent point given the cost of either buying and/or renting a place in L.A., good grief.

Good thing I've been saving all those pennies I've found heads up.

Yep. When I left LA 25 years ago I was paying more rent for half the room as I am now in NC.

My 3 acres, 3,000 sf custom home, & 1,200 sf barn cost a third of what my cousin in LA paid for his 1,800 sf cracker box home.

On the other hand, there is nowhere else on earth quite like it. I lived in Pasadena, and on some spring days I could drive 45 minutes to snow skiing in the morning, 45 minutes to the beach for the afternoon and an hour out to the desert for camping overnight.

That's why I'm looking at the suburbs, and by that I mean somewhere probably 100 miles or more away given the gentrification of even the so called "non LA" cities and towns. I guess if push comes to shove, there's always San Diego and the in-laws, but it's going to make a heck of a drive to media/production job in LA. Or, well, whoever and wherever hires me.

It's interesting you mention that as here in Oregon we're seeing a lot of of the "LA" effect with cities and towns growing, costs going up, etc. One city not too far away from where I live, north of us in fact, is dealing with that as it seems everyone and their cousin (namely, Californians) are moving there. I've heard that cost have gone up a couple hundred percent over the last couple of decades. Not sure how true that is, but it's certainly growing. Anyways, it's the same way. You're an hour/hour and a half from the coast, less to hiking, snow sports, fishing, hunting, etc. People love it.
