Actually, I was posting photos of comparable typical conservative women a la demo's vision.
You do understand that when I called her the very model of a modern social democrat I was not talking about the way she looked don't you? She looks like a nice young woman. What I was referring to with my "model of a modern social democrat" was the fact that she seems to be plagued by several illnesses which are notoriously difficult to prove or disprove. From those illnesses she has garnered disabled status from the government and therefor gets paid to do nothing. Lastly, while being in her mid 20s she still lives with her mother. As I said, an almost unbelievably stereotypical version of what some conservatives consider young democrats to be. I could have and probably should have left her photo out of it because it was unrelated to the point I was making but since it was in the article I added it.
Careful D, you don't know what a person has or does not have that qualifies them to be declared disabled. It is not always the person in the wheelchair toting oxygen. You just don't know, should not judge and I pray you never find out in your own life. There was no judgement in my post. Just statements of the facts of the case.

I've seen the video before, it is interesting that your sources stops the video at "No Ma'am" when the other video I saw included his statement that if he had realized she was disabled he would have waited until another tow vehicle arrived even though he would still refuse to tow her. I am guessing that in his eyes he is doing the same thing that PayPal did or that Bruce Springsteen did when they chose not to do business with folks they had a political disagreement with. I am sure you can support his position since you supported the positions of PayPal and the Boss. My point is that it isn't any hoax. That was your earlier claim.
Or perhaps your earlier suggestion.

My point is that it isn't any hoax. That was your earlier claim. No, I did not claim it was a hoax. Someone else suggested that it could be a hoax and I responded to that stating that it would make sense if it were a hoax considering the stereotypical nature of the girl. Frankly the guy is also something of a stereotype himself.
So, back to the subject, since you support the actions of the boss in not performing his service to people he disagrees with politically, do you support this business person's position. After all, what he is doing is mirroring the actions of all those people the left cheered for taking a stand against something they disagreed with politically.

Worst. Analogy. Ever... Why? It is basically the same. All those performers who canceled their shows chose not to perform a service in a state that did something they politically disagreed with. This guy has chosen not to do business with people he politically disagrees with. It is essentially the same thing.
Mind you, I would not have done what he did but then again, I would not have canceled the performances if I had a scheduled show either...
Since I supported PayPal and Springsteen in their choices I can't not support this guy without being a hypocrite.

I don't think I commented on Springsteen. You supported the idea that it might be a hoax. I provided some video that says otherwise. The free market is working its magic on Yelp, right now. You should check it out.

Paypal chose not to hire people there.
This guy left her in her air conditioned car to get another tow. She certainly had a cell phone of some type so it is not like he totally abandoned her without any means of getting a tow. I think he should have towed her but I can't condemn him after I supported Paypal and Springsteen.

I don't know if I would call yelp the free market lol but I understand he is probably getting hammered by lots of people who do not live anywhere near him and have never used his service. Yelp is supposed to be for you to talk about your personal experience with a service.

Missing a show not equal to leaving a disabled person stranded. She could have ended up in danger. Your defense of it is pathetic.

Yelp is supposed to be for you to talk about your personal experience with a service. It's a good way to get a handle on how a business is seen in the community. I know that if I were a businessman I wouldn't want to be getting hammered the way he is right now.

Active Cleanup Alert
This business recently made waves in the news, which often means that people come to this page to post their views on the news.
While we don’t take a stand one way or the other when it comes to these news events, we do work to remove both positive and negative posts that appear to be motivated more by the news coverage itself than the reviewer’s personal consumer experience with the business.
Seems I was correct about the intended use of yelp. It also seems that Yelp disagrees with your assessment of what they are good for.

It was Gods fault though.... Cause God told him to strand her like that. Yeah, I have read the new testament of the bible pretty thoroughly and I don't think it was a very Christian thing to do.
Now the old testament is a different story but that is not exactly supposed to be the focus of Christians.

By the way...as an active cleanup effort is underway...they need to get crackin. There are a spit load of bad comments about that guys business practices

Yep, looks like there are 104 reviews and 98 of them are likely bogus, maybe more. Maybe so, but it still is bad for business. This wasn't any hoax. It was a pretty crappy business decision. A pretty crappy human act. God needs to work on his business advisory skills.
