But the company keeps on telling people they are not bias and takes no side. If Facebook is neutral, I am the Pope's long lost grandson. http://gizmodo.com/former-facebook-workers-we-routinely-suppressed-conser-1775461006 *Closed - SYI by topic author* Edited by Freaks1932, May 10 2016, 07:07 PM.

Good, hope all the conservatives boycott Facebook and deactivate their accounts so I don't see their posts on the feed. |

Just because somebody within, even the boss, feels a certain way doesn't mean that they are going to treat the people who go there differently. I mean Chick-fil-A doesn't throw non-Christians or homosexuals out just because of those things, do they? Why so much paranoia? |

Also, you get angry because you think this story is true as a matter of fact and that they are bias but you visit bias sites all the time. Are you equally as angry when you visit a site that has a conservative bias? |

Ignorant voters are going to be ignorant no matter what because they have all the information right there in front of them but choose not to look for it. |

There's a difference when these "ignorant voters" you speak of go out and gather their news than having Facebook delivers the tailored news to them. |

The difference is choice. Facebook deliberately feeds the news the company wants its user to read. I have a choice of the news I want to read. |

The tailored news typically pertains to your interests, you can also get rid of them if you don't like them. Plus, who goes to facebook mostly for news? |

Mark Zuckerberg Donated $992.2 Million to Planned Parenthood (Sort Of) This is what Facebook users generate funds towards. They are a private company. Pretty much their site, their rules. That's free market, no? Edited by Eddo26, May 10 2016, 05:51 AM.

I see no problem with FaceBook endorsing a candidate or taking a position on social issues. It would be nice if they would do it openly and transparently as opposed to manipulation of media. bring on the Yabbutts.

In an ideal, honest world, it would be nice. But in the real world, discreet manipulation has more, more impact on the masses. Edited by Eddo26, May 10 2016, 06:28 AM.

Right. You have a choice. So where's the problem? |

If you like communism, Facebook is for you. Facebook, like numerous leftist run companies don't see their hypocrisy nevertheless. We are pro diversity and respect people's opinion blah blah blah but does none of that stuff. |

I remember having a conversation with my step-father a few years back, he's deeply conservative, and he was ranting about Supreme Court Justice Sonia being liberal. I broke in to his rant and pointed out that she is just as liberal as Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito is conservative. He stopped for a moment and thought about it and then responded, "Yes, but I'm a conservative..." And what could I say to that? |

So you choose not to get your 'news' from Facebook. So do I. Again, what's the problem (besides your constant butthurt over nothing)? |

Perhaps you should look up Facebook's mission statement and values, if there are any. |
