Boehner wouldn't be surprised if Clinton 'has to withdraw' Former Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Thursday took shots at Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and said he wouldn't be surprised if Hillary Clinton ends up withdrawing from the presidential race. Addressing the SALT Conference in Las Vegas, the former Speaker suggested that Democrats might have to turn to Vice President Biden to be their 2016 nominee. |

Transforming Vice-President Biden into President Biden would be fine with me. If he had elected to run then Mr. Trump's campaign would barely be a footnote. If he is drafted to run then Mr. Trump's campaign is over. I don't think Ms. Clinton is going anywhere. |

I wonder if Boehner has some leaked information or if he has been drinking too much again ???....That said, Hillary is a high risk candidate for the Democratic Party...............

You do realize he's going to trial in early 2017 for fraud, do you not? That is, of course, unless he settles the class action lawsuit against him that was filed by hundreds of former students of Trump University - because he ripped them off. |

so true so true.. Killary is the most flawed candidate that's ever run for office.. but then again never had a job till he was 40 Bernie who doesn't know jack you know what about true socialism is just as flawed.. but I don't think Biden will run even if Killary withdraws.. he has convinced himself he wouldn't win and he is right..

I know its civil - it could also cost him millions and even more considering the months of bad publicity the trial would create. So, it's likely he'll also back-track and settle the case rather than humiliate himself in public, but we shall see. |

I understand the fact Trump has no sense of shame - which makes him a formidable adversary. But, I believe, losing the general election would humiliate him if nothing else because Hillary's a female. Which would then make Trump a loser - and he doesn't like losers. Hence, the utter humiliation of defeat at the hands of a woman. And not just any women, but a grandmother. Which will be further proof - Trump needs to work out more because he's so low energy, fat and lazy that a little old lady can beat him in a presidential election.

The timing of government investigation of Hillary is in Obama's hands. He can pick when to issue the indictment but evidence strong enough to support a judicial indictment can't be kept secret forever. The question is one of timing. When will Hillary's perp walk do the least damage to the Democratic Party and Obama's legacy? The answer: after the last primary in CA but before the convention. That is ample time to leak the bad news to her delegates who will merely have to abstain "until all the facts are in" allowing Sanders to win on the first ballot. With Hillary out of the race, the indictment loses 95% of its news value and candidate Sanders can proceed to unify the party while gathering up the votes of Hillary supporters who will not be able to blame him him for her loss. Hillary will fade rapidly, taking with her all the haters who will continue their screaming outrage long after voters have ceased to pay any attention. Obama can easily delay the trail until after the election. He can even pardon her before the thing gets to court. The big thing is that the Dems will be able to smash Trump and retake the Congress. God bless America.

A pardon of or an indictment of Hillary will rub off on all Democrats...The negative effect on all Democrats will have them scurrying like roaches when the lights turn on....Most will deny they ever knew Hillary....Although Aligator was an early supporter of Hillary, he has seen the writing on the wall................ :oyvey
