Skipping leg day is the equivalent of a woman having an abortion. You're ashamed of it, and it was probably unnecessary.

Translation: Americans of my persuasion should be grateful Sanders has decided to start an unnecessary civil war in his own party and dimwittedly help bring my candidate to power.

It isn't unnessecary. The special interest and corporate lobbyist must be brought to heel in both parties.

Corporate power in American politics is more limited and more heavily regulated that at almost any time in American history.

So let's start with the DNC now then after Trumps elected president the GOP will decide how best to move forward - if at all. After all President Trump does need to rewrite the Bill of Rights, build his wall and deport 13 million Hispanic rapists and murders, not to mention defeat the ISIS. So cut the guy some slack, because he's going to be a little busy during the first year of his administration.

How unfortunate you feel compelled to elect the corporate oligarchs' candidate.

Speaking of corporate oligarchs.

You must not be aware of the fact Trump will soon be excepting unregulated campaign donations from Wall Street, Billionaires, lobbyists and anyone else wishing to find favor with him. In other words, Trump has now become the very candidate he's said he spent decades buying off. So, spare me your self-righteous Indignation, because Trumps no role model.

Catchy quote but you omitted the first half What he said was, "First of all, developed countries have basically expropriated the atmosphere of the world community. But one must say clearly that we redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy."

I have something even better than a link. It's called a working knowledge of American history.

It's what people used to have before Wikipedia.

Enforceable campaign finance regulation barely existed before the 1970s. McCain-Feingold wasn't passed until 2002. Most of what went on routinely 100 years ago in government would today get you arrested for bribery. Previous to that, Senate seats - which were appointed - were pretty much sold to corporations who were allowed to do virtually anything they wanted.

By contrast today, the Republican nominee for President doesn't even bother with a superPAC. Well-funded candidates like Jeb Bush collapsed like accordians while Trump, who spent barely anything beyond buying those chintzy "Make America Great Again!" hats, steamrolled him like a bug. Ted Cruz who came the closest to defeating Trump, also raised very little money.

On the Democratic side, the establishment candidate did win but was given a huge run for her money by a socialist who had no superPAC, no corporate donors and whose average donation was $27. Guys like the Koch Brothers are sitting out the presidential campaign entirely and many wealthy megadonors are complaining that their cash is completely useless. They dump million upon millions into candidates who gets beat by some dude who spends next to nothing.
