Excellent. We'll get max turnout from the farmboys in Pennsylvania and Michigan.

I don't think he really needed to pander to them. I mean if they were going to endorse somebody anyways then it certainly wouldn't be Clinton.

The clear differences between the candidates are certainly going to be highlighted in this election.

Gunless Hillary (except for her bodyguards) compared to well endowed Trump who carries a gun...Someone who expects others to do their shooting for them, rather than someone ready to do their own shooting...So much for equal rights (and equal responsibility)............ :victory:

Must be a 180-Degree turnaround for the Donald.
Did he not advocate less guns some years ago?

Yes, yes he did. Now he is advocating for NO gun-free zones. Of course, he did it at the National Rifle's Assn. which was a gun-free zone. And to show how he talks out of both sides of his mouth, a reporter called his various properties and asked about guns. Trump has 'gun-free zones' on some of them.

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/280723-trump-vows-to-end-gun-free-zones

And, as we know, the Republican convention will be a gun-free zone too. Don't want anyone there with a gun who could be a threat. (But wait, if everyone was packing--wouldn't the potential shooter be stopped 'dead' in their tracks.? Isn't that the usual argument? Malls, movie theatres, schools--all would benefit from packing patrons. But not gatherings with Repulicans/conservatives, defenders of the 2nd ammendment or resorts owned by a Republican candidate? Must be just lip service--this No gun-free zones stance.

Trump supported the assault weapons ban, a longer waiting period to purchase a handgun, etc, etc. All the Clinton campaign need do is use Trump's Larry King interview where he discusses how much he hates guns in campaign ad's to make its point on how Trump continues to change positions on not only the 2nd Amendment but virtually every important issue to our nation - depending on which audience he is seeking favor with.

But the reality is: This will make little difference to conservatives, simply because they've sold out the GOP and their former conservative values in the name of getting Trumped. But if Trump does win the general election, they will find out soon enough they were lied to by a charlatan. One who's very cunning, because he's perfected his craft over decades.

In 2007, the estimated number of concealed carry permits across the US was 4.6 million. Fast forward to 2015, and the new estimate soars to 12.8 million. With these numbers, we can conclude that roughly 5.2% of the adult population has their concealed carry permit

We all know what that 5.2% think about gun laws; the issue is what are the opinions among the other 94.6%? The guys legally carrying concealed are a tiny minority of the adult population. How great is support for them among the majority and how much of their status is the result of political corruption, bribery etc. in our dysfunctional democracy?

I'm startin ta wunder bout that thar yankee blue blooded education you got thar Mr. Peabody!!!

Most folks don't want the gubment knowin about thar handguns, so they don't apply!!! And, it's pretty durn had ta conceal a long gun. Then thar's the others what don't carry on a regular basis, because they realize that havin ta use a handgun out in public could only complicate thar lives, because of the bleedin hearts librawls what always seem ta take the criminals side, not to mention the ambulance chasin lawyers an the race pimpin media!!!

Thar's much more than 5.2% support than yur race pimpin media lets on!!!

Well, well, it's good to have you back, muddying the discussion with wobbly logic and conservative spelling. The folks that carry concealed without the required permit are gun criminals. This because they are committing a crime in violating the gun laws. Responsible gun owners, a category into which you obviously do not fit, condemn gun crime. Hillary and I are not talking about gun criminals or their legal preferences. The topic is the support for CCW. Good luck on your next post!
